"We are so sorry for the fuss and embarrassment we caused earlier." All in unison, as if they had rehearsed it for weeks, they apologised profusely to her, clearly being interrogated to by her friends.
In response, she raised a brow and shook her head, "Don't apologise, why don't we all walk to the Mess Hall together?"
The group of male's swooned at her kindness as her friends stared in, yet again, states of shock. As the group of boys walked a few paces ahead, laughing and bantering with one another, Eren shuffled his way next to Akira, "I'm surprised you didn't beat the living daylights out of each and every one of them." He chuckled as he nudged her arm.
"I've told Armin I'm going to try and not hurt people out of spite or annoyance, it was hard not to but I'll get the hang of it." The green eyed female threw her shoulders up in a shrug.
The brunette wrapped his arm around her shoulder, "Well it's working, and you're even getting them wrapped around your finger whilst you're doing it."
"I didn't want that, but I guess it could come in handy some day." She cheekily shrugs again.
He laughed and patted her hard on the back, "That's my girl."
Face flushing, she looked away. She didn't understand why she got embarrassed at that line, but it made her stomach tingle with butterflies. Shaking it off, she noticed Armin staring dormantly off into the distance. Slowling down her pace, he finally caught up and she poked his cheek, causing him to jump out of it, flustered.
"You okay?" She questions, no concern evident within her tone or expression.
He, with a bubbly smile, nodded, "Yep, just thinking about how stupid those boys looked earlier and how nice you're being to everyone lately, it's nice, within no time everyone is going to be on their knees for you - I mean fair enough, you're cute, strong, beautiful and scary." He began to mumble at the end, causing her to give a confused stare.
"I lost you at the end, what did you say?"
His face dusted with a light pink, "D-don't worry."
"Okay," She nodded, shrugging it off as she continued to finish her sentence, "And I'm not really here to have people crawling on their knees for me." She comments.
"Either way it's inevitable to happen." The blonde chuckled as he grabbed her hand, pulling her forward to catch up with Eren, "Come on, we want a good seat." He smiled warmly to her from over his shoulder as she internally giggled.
Plumping down in a seat next to each other, Armin and Akira continued to have general conversation about how training is going so far. Eren was distantly staring into his bowl of food as he heard people muttering about how he had failed despite his rage-filled speech this morning about how he wanted to eradicate the titans - which Akira had missed due to walking out.
"Don't put on this false sense of loyalty and honour Marco, we aren't children," Jean grinned as he inched closer to the freckled male, "You really just want the good life in the interior, right?"
"Talking about the interior, poor Jean, so misguided...besides, I don't think your head would fit in the interior anyway." Eren cockily smirks as he sips his drink. Akira rolled her eyes, knowing full well they were going to have a long lasting relationship of fights and arguments.
Small spurts of giggles and held back chuckles cannoned throughout the room, causing Jean to clench his jaw, "Well it's better to play the system than get gnawed on you suicidal bastard."
"You son of a bitch!" Eren growled as he pushed himself up from his seat.
"Bring it on, you little bastard." Jean stood up, the two walking towards each other.
Armin threw himself up as the two male's clutched each other's collars, "Eren, please stop it."
"Gentlemen, please." Miika also stood up, ready to intercept.
Rolling her eyes and sighing, Akira stepped out of her seat and walked between them, staring up at Jean with a deadpan expression, "Go sit back down, horseface."
The crowd began to get more intrigued, the group of boys from earlier especially as they wanted to know how capable someone so perfect was of being intimidating or even beating someone up.
"What you gonna do about it, shortie." He smirks as he straightened himself up, looming over her.
She growled at him and grabbed his shirt, pulling him down with a lot more strength than he expected she would ever have as he nearly collapsed to his knees, "My height does not determine my capability to smash your face into the floor." She muttered in a deep, hostile tone, making shivers crawl up the spines of most people in the room as they all stared at shock.
Jean clenched his jaw and gulped the lump in his throat, "Fine."
"Good." She releases him as he stands back up, her stepping away from the two.
'So cool.' All the guys who were hopelessly wrapped around her finger thought in unison as they watched her intently.
"You dare judge me!" The two-tone haired male suddenly clutched Eren's shirt again, yelling.
"If you rip my shirt you're dead!" He retorted.
Jean gripped it tighter, "I don't care about your shirt, I hate you."
Before the two could continue, Akira grabbed Jean's arm and twisted it behind his back, spinning him around. Kicking him in the back, he stumbles forward and slips, falling flat on his face. She then grabs Eren's arm and flips him effortlessly onto his back, "Both of you, stop being so childish, you both have different views, yeah, we get it, but don't fight whilst everyone else is trying to enjoy their free time, and plus this is a petty thing to be making such a commotion over." She hissed lightly, causing the two to apologise as they pulled themselves shakily off of the ground.
"Damn you and your inhumane strength." Eren cursed as he wobbled past her and plopped back down into his seat.
"Blame yourself, maybe that will teach you a lesson." She rolls her eyes, climbing into her seat next to Armin again.
Suddenly, the door creaked open, half of the face of their one and only drill instructor peaking through it, "Would someone like to explain the little ruckus I heard just now?"
The room went silent before Miika raised his hand, "Sasha passed some gas, commandant."
"Why am I not surprised." He grunted, Sasha gasping louder than when Miika had proclaimed it was her fault at his response, "For the love of god learn some self control." He then slammed the door shut as the whole room filled with stifled giggles.
"Why would you say that!" Sasha launched herself at Miika, and before being able to say another word, he shoved bread into her mouth.
Akira shrugged, "Good call."
"Nobody else was going to say anything." Miika blinked at her.
"Don't condone it Akiii!" Sasha whined through a mouthful of bread.
Armin looked at them confused, "Aki?"
"Yeah, she just gave me a nickname, i don't really mind." The white haired female nodded.
"It's cute." Armin smiled with a small giggle, "Maybe we should all give each other nicknames."
"Cinnamon Roll." Akira stated blankly, staring at Armin.
His face flushed, "Wh-what? Me?"
"Mhm, you strike me as cute and sweet, but you also have a hidden aspect which can make people crave you, innocent and simple looking on the outside but on the inside there is much more to you." She monologues, causing his cheeks to go a brighter red.
"I'll call you shortie then." He huffed out, folding his arms over his chest.
"Heyyy, that's no fair." She whined in a rare tone. The three males couldn't help but stare with a strange craving sense to hear her tone more often when it isn't monotone.
He pouted at her, "Whatever, shortie."
