The group were rushing around in preparation, posts being assigned to all Cadets. Some soldiers began crying and throwing up, some had fainted, some were composed but nervous, and some were ready and determined. The mixed range of emotions began to overwhelm the female as she prayed for her post to finally be given to her, "Akira." A voice commands, making her spin on her heel and slam her fist on her chest in a heartfelt salute.

"Yes, sir." Strong and bold, her expression and tone unwavering, she awaited to hear where she would be stationed.

"You have been asked to assist the elite on special orders." He huffed under his breath, confused as to why they were expecting a rookie to be able to be of assistance to elites.

She stared confused, however nodded, "Of course, sir."

"Get moving as soon as you can, we will be positioned in the area just South of the exit gates, we will deal with any that get too close to it." He saluted to her and swivelled back around.

She noticed her friends and a few of the guys who were head over heels for her stare in shock and awe, "Straight into the elite, huh? You must be good." Eren smirked at her as he nuzzled his hand into her head, "Go get 'em, teach those ugly bastards a lesson for me." He gives a cheesy, closed-eyed grin, flashing his pearly whites.

She nods and throws herself at him in a quick hug, pulling him down to her height so she could plant a kiss on his cheek, "Don't die on me, Jaeger." She comments, bidding her goodbyes and withdrawing to follow the soldier who had addressed her earlier.

Stationed on top of a house, the niche group of elites eyed Akira as they awaited for any sign of titans, "Why is a rookie helping us?" A male with light brown hair spat, personally feeling offended.

"That doesn't matter right now, take up personal matters later, in the meantime, focus on the mission, for all we know she is better than all of us combined, it was on special orders from Erwin and Shadis, so they must know what they are doing," The male from before replied, silencing the brunette, but not before he let out an aggravated sigh.

Whilst the other four males in the group scouted the area from the rooftop, the brunette slammed his hand down on Akira's shoulder, leaning into her and putting his lips next to her ear, "I don't believe you are that good, and don't expect me to be nice to you or give you respect just because you have been given special orders fresh out of training, don't hold us back." He hissed venomously.

Annoyance content in her eyes, however devoid in her expression as it stayed bland as slate, she clutched a fistful of his collar in her hands, yanking him down so he could make eye contact with her. No matter how hard he tugged back, he couldn't budge, forcing his eyes to grow wide at her eminent strength, "What is your problem?" At her comment, the group turned in to face them, slightly shocked at the scene as the smaller female had the much taller male tight in her grasp, "We are here trying to fight for our lives, and for the lives of the civilians of this district, and you are trying to degrade me because you feel personally attacked about a newbie being asked to help you? Well excuse me for being told to do my job, but it isn't our choice anymore. So grow the hell up and do what you trained all these years for, you aren't earning my respect with that selfish attitude. Stop being so childish at such a dire moment, we need to be ready for anything to happen." She threw him back, releasing his collar, causing him to stumble back over his own feet. Balancing himself, he only glared at her, annoyed at the fact that she was completely right.

"Never known a rookie to be that nonchalant about it, she treats it like it is her soul-bound duty and doesn't think emotionally toward it." A dark blonde haired male comments to the officer of the group. In reply, he slowly nodded, still intrigued by the smaller female.

As if her words had reached the titans, a titan of the 10 metre range sped around the corner in a frantic sprint, completely ignoring the group on the roof as it headed straight towards the evacuation post, "Abnormal ahead! Try and catch up before it reaches the gate!" The squad leader yells as he jumps off of the roof, deploying his ODM gear to throw himself back into the air, the rest of the group following closely behind.

"This is your chance to prove your words aren't all you being an egotistical bastard." Akira smirked gently at the male in a mocking manner before throwing herself off of the building, catching up to the group within seconds. The members couldn't help but stare in shock, they were dubbed some of the fastest soldiers in humanity and this newbie was keeping up effortlessly.

"It's too fast! We will never catch up to it in time!"  The male next to Akira cursed under his breath, forcing the green orbed female to sigh out, hopelessly.

"I expected more of you." And before they could all retort, she sped ahead, latching into the creatures nape and throwing her weight forward, spinning in a 360 as she drilled her blades down into its nape. The creature limply slammed down to the floor, however it began sliding forward due to the speed it was running building enough friction to cause it to keep moving for a bit even when it was stationary. She clenched her jaw as she noticed the crowd of people near the gate, all frozen in fear and shock as they stared. She threw herself off of its head, standing in front of it as she clenched handfuls of its hair, pushing back on it. Luckily, it wasn't as heavy as she was expecting, so she managed to stop it with relative effort as it slowly pushed her back. Finally coming to a halt, she noticed the crowd staring at her wide-eyed, the deceased titan now only a few steps away from them, "It's dead now, don't worry." She reassures, noticing a wagon jammed in the archway of the exit, "So this is why it's taking so long..."

"Get these morons to help me push it through, i'll pay you handsomely." A fat merchant with a scruffily shaved, stubble covered chin and unkempt hair choked on air as he attempted to coax the female with payment.

She slowly walked towards him, blades in her hands, "Sir, with all do respect, there are soldiers out there risking their lives to make sure everyone evacuates safely, however they aren't dying for a good cause because you are clearly not a good cause, you are taking too long and we could be done right now if your selfish, merchant ass didn't try and bring all your belongings just so you could stay rich."

"Don't you speak that way to me, your Commander and I are old friends, you'll be in a lot of trouble if I have a word with him." Sweat began to dribble down his face as she inched closer. Completely ignoring him, she continued to approach him, her weapons unsheathed. His two 'henchmen' of sorts attacked her thoughtlessly, making her knock them out by hitting the back of their necks with the blunt side of the blades.

She stopped a few steps in front of the man, pointing her blade at his throat, "So, you mind moving your money-maker out of the way?" Her expression was dark and monotone as he nervously gulped.

"Fine."
