I felt myself slowly waking up from the lack of heat. Turning around I saw Jeff was gone.
Stretching my limbs, I looked at the wall clock, it was already 3pm! Why didn't anyone wake me? Sitting my body up, lazily looking around the room. I smiled when I saw a bunch of my clothes neatly folded sitting next to the closet.
Making my way slowly to the clothes, I picked out black skinny jeans and a bright blue Marvel Heroes shirt. Heading for the bathroom too busy looking at my feet, I smacked into a wall
Nope not a wall, looking up I saw it was a person. But I don't know who it was. He had a white mask and holes cut out for eyes but they were pitch black but in the middle, I could pick out a pair of blue eyes. His hair was brown and shaggy. The mask's mouth was colored black and had pencil looking eyebrows also. He was wearing an orange/tan jacket.
He continued to stare down at me.
Trying to walk around him, he kept blocking my way making in impossible to pass him.
"So you must me Heart Attack Harper" It wasn't a question, it was a statement. Nodding my head softly.
"Yes" I tried to move around his left side but he blocked my path.
"Well I'm Masky, and I want to say thank you. Jeff hasn't been nearly as annoying as he use to be. My only guess is because of you" I heard the smile in his voice.
I smiled up at him "No problem, though I really hanen't done much" I stepped to the side of Masky and he let me pass.
"It was nice meeting you Harper" His voice called out.
"Nice meeting you too!"
Once my clothes were changed I headed downstairs, when I reached the living room I saw saw Slendy and Jeff talking on the couch while Sally sat on the floor playing with her bear Charlie. Walking over to Sally to greet her.
"Hey Sal, how are you and Charlie today?"
"We're good, I wanted to wake you up a while ago but Jeff said no" Her adorable pout made me chuckle.
"I promise to try not to sleep in too much next time" Smiling down at her.
I made my way to Jeff who was looking at me in the corner of his eye. I smiled sweetly.
Sitting on the couch next to him, I relaxed my head on his shoulder staring mindlessly at the TV. Jeff continued to talk to Jeff quietly while I tried my best to not to eavesdrop. I felt Jeff's hand sit on my knee squeezing it gently as he talked to Slenderman. Every now and then I would hear my name, Jeff would pat my leg assuring me not to worry.
When there conversation ended, Slendy got up and left the room. Jeff turned to me and gave me his full attention. "Sorry about that. It wasn't anything bad, Slenderman was just talking about where we should go when your feeling 'hungry'" I looked down at his hand on my knee and nodded.
"We'll go somewhere far away, to a small little town. So we don't have to worry if they look for killers"
"Sorry for causing so much trouble" I couldn't look at his eyes when I said this.
"Hey, it's not trouble. We'll just be careful" His hand left my leg grabbing my chin sternly so he could look in my eyes.
I hate that we have to be more careful because of me. Random stabbings are normal, but when a victim is found gutted like a fish and missing a heart, police aren't going to let that happen without a huge investigation.
