Mako is overprotective

Mako gone mad

A few weeks since the tree incident, Mako had built Korra a playground that look like it could hold over 40 armed soldiers. But Korra didn't have any fun with it because her bodyguards didn't let her do anything without someone testing it out first and if they got hurt Korra couldn't play with it.

Korra was also not aloud to do anymore of her lessons because Mako had walked in and saw the teacher yelling at her for getting the answer wrong on the test about Earth Kingdom history. Mako was not pleased and had the teacher sent to prison; not before he gave Korra's test an 'A+' (because he thought that failing would make Korra sad). Korra was having enough with Mako controlling everything about her. So she yelling at saying she hated him and locked herself in the royal kitchen. Mako and her bodyguards had a full blown melt down had almost broken down the door when she didn't come out 3 days latter. So on day 4, they finally ripped the door off it's hinges (the door was made from solid lava; but the hinges where metal) and forced Korra out of the room. Mako then carried her to their room, where for over an hour just sat on the bed and saying that he was sorry.

Korra had forgiven him, but Mako still wouldn't let her go and hated it. Mako thought it was the stress she was under, so he order his men (and woman) to pack up because they where all going to the beach in a secret area of the Earth kingdom.

Meanwhile a few days later

The two benders (Lin & Bolin) and the animals had made it into the capital and headed into the palace, when they saw Mako running around order people around to pepper for the beach. Mako then saw his brother and hugged him. He then lead Bolin inside (when Lin and the animals where brought to Su)  to a dressing room where Korra was being fitted for her winter dresses with Kuvira and Opal guarding her. Korra saw Bolin and ran over to hug him (Kuvira, Opal, and Mako told her to slow down before she hurt herself), but was stopped by Mako pulling Bolin back "Korra stopped running around you'll get hurt and Bolin, Korra is fragile."

Mako then picked up Korra bridle style and carried her back to their room, "Now Korra you haven't been behaving well so you need to be punished, I'll be spanking you" and he started landing smacks on her butt cheeks. She started struggling and crying. It lasted till the 20th smack, then Mako pulled Korra into a hug and started saying "It's ok, I'm sorry I hurt you, Korra but I love and forgive you now."

Korra started to fall asleep thinking about the beach trip "I could escape then and run away without anyone fallowing me." Mako then tucked Korra into the bed and kissed her good night, then left the bedroom and started planning on taking over Repunlic city then the world, just to keep Korra safe.
