Tangled in the Shadows

The Beginning of the End: Part 2

Sonic: (spotting Shade) Come face to face together huh, Shade?

Shade: I'm going to shut that big mouth of yours.

Sonic: Wow. For a guy created from part of Shadow, you sure sound like him. Now, battle royal time! (Might have got that from Sonic the Hedgehog comics)

Sonic spin dashed at Shade and then he kicked him away like it did no better then a soccer ball. Then when Sonic charged at him to attack, Shade grabbed a Chaos Emerald  and used it to slow down time and used an energy ball to blast him away. (sort of like Sonic 06 a little with the time thing)

Sonic: Impressive but that's not all I got!

Shade: Same here, but you got nothing. Remember that I'm stronger than you by a longshot.

Shadow then caught up with Sonic along with the Chaotix, Amy, and Knuckles.

Sonic: Yeah but not if we get you all at once!

Meanwhile in the infirmary room, Tangle was waking up to see Tails, the Bits, and Whisper's faces.

Tails: She's waking up!

Tangle: (drowsy) Uhh ... What's going on?...

Whisper: (not whispering) Tangle! (now hugging her)

Tangle: Hey it's alright ,Whisper! I'm Ok! (stopped hugging) Though what's going on since the last thing I remember was being at Eggmanland.

Whisper: (whispering again) Tails saved your life since you were dying and I thought...

Tangle: Hey I'm alright now so no moping around, alright? Though seriously, what's going on? I hear loud thuds from outside.

Tails: It's Eggman. He's attacking using his entire army with Lord Hood, Eclipse with his Black Arms, and...

Tangle: Oh I get it. Shade.

Tails: Well yeah...

Tangle: (Exited) Well than what are we all waiting for!? Let's go and help! (trying to get up from bed)

Tails: Hold on, Tangle! You still need to lay low and you still need to rest.

Whisper: I won't let you get hurt again!

Tangle: Well, what is this "rest" you speak of? And I want to help my friends which I care about more then myself which is one thing that makes me a hero now. Are you going to help me or not?

Whisper: ... Alright, but I'm coming with you.

Tangle: Like I'll have it any other way.

Tangle, Whisper, and Tails went to help the others fight Eggman (and I think you get the point with who he's working with). Meanwhile, the others fighting Shade was having a hard time with that.

Sonic: (teasing) I admit "pant" your tougher then I thought.

Shade: Same for you incompetent fools. I didn't think you can survive me.

Sonic: I guess first time for everything since it takes a lot to get rid of me.

Shade: Hmpt. Like you said with "first time for everything".

Shade made a huge energy ball over them that would be enough to kill all of them in one strike. Then T-pup flew next to Sonic and projected a transmission from Tails.

Tails: (from T-pup) Hey Sonic. Help is on the way!

Sonic: You mean...

Then all of a sudden, a familiar tail stretched around Shade's eyes. Then a orange blasts hit Shade and made him lose focus and the energy ball disappeared. Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, and Shadow looked behind them and saw that it was Tangle and Whisper.

Tails: (still from T-pup): Also, look up!

Sonic looked up and saw him flying the Tornado (Tail's plane) and firing at Shade making him distracted.

Tails: Guys! Hit him now!!

Then Sonic, and Shadow spin dashed him at the same time, knocking Shade miles away while Rouge caught up.

Sonic: Hey, Rouge. How's the rest of the Resistance holding up?

Rouge: There's to much for everyone to handle so I called in some back up.

Sonic looked up and saw a bunch of G.U.N. carriers flying overhead and some G.U.N agents where dropping in to help fight off both of the armies with the Resistance. While Omega flew in with them.

Rouge: There you are, Tin-man. Here to help us out I see.

Omega: I desire to shoot some aliens and destroy some baniks.

Sonic: Can we do this reunion later since we need to get Shade.

Omega: As long as he makes a good punching bag for me to disassemble.

Shade then Chaos Controlled there towards them and did a Chaos Blast and knocked them all off there feet.

Sonic: ...And there he is.

Shade: Want to disassemble me huh ,robot? Then let's go, Resistance.

Tangle: (hyped) Oh he's going to get it now!

Then all of them charged as they went to battle Shade.

(See if Team Dark, Amy, Knuckles, ...ah you get the point, will survive Shade's might. Later!)
