Kuroo pov.

Kuroo parked next to his and Kenma's house. He took all his stuff out of the car, still not believing that they had to go earlier than planned because of some problems or something like that. Kuroo didn't mind that much, as much as it surprised himself. He managed to have matches against very strong teams anyways, now the only thing he wanted was Kenma. He wanted to know how he felt. Was he alright?

Kuroo took the keys with his bags on his shoulder and slowly unlocked the door. He hoped to surprise Kenma. Kuroo just shoved the bags on the floor in their hall and walked towards Kenma's room. To his surprise though it was empty, this made him worried. Where was he? His computer was turned off, as well with their TV, Kenma's switch and other gaming consoles. Kuroo panicked and looked through the living room before going to his own room, he didn't expect what he saw though.

Kenma, sit-sleeping curled up with his sheets in his bed. Kuroo smiled until noticing something, Kenma must've cried just a few minutes ago because his cheeks were wet and covered in tears. Without thinking twice Kuroo rushed towards Kenma. He softly wiped his tears off, cupping his cheek with his hand. He then proceeded to softly lay Kenma down on his bed and Kuroo laid next to him, hugging Kenma to comfort him. His expression changed in his sleep, he looked calmer.

- i'm back Kitten~ - Kuroo whispered although it was hard enough to wake Kenma up. At first he didn't realise what was happening, at least that's what it looked like. Kuroo just looked at him lovingly, not wanting to take his eyes off him.

- shhh... it's fine now, i'm here - Kuroo whispered again. After that Kenma's face changed. He looked at Kuroo with big, shiny eyes. Kenma immediately buried his face in Kuroo's chest and started sobbing, which took him by surprise. Without thinking Kuroo embraced Kenma with his arms, it was more like a reflex than something to think about. He hugged Kenma closer to him.

- you big idiot, i was so worried. I thought i might never see you again! - Kenma said with his face still buried in Kuroo's chest. Kuroo didn't understand why he thought so but understood after a while, right, his phone. Kenma must've called him so often and he couldn't pick it up because he lost his phone.

- i'm sorry Kenma, i lost my phone in Russia. I'm so sorry you had to worry about me. I promise this won't happen ever again. - Kuroo hugged him tighter. He felt horrible, just thinking about how Kenma must've felt. But it was alright now. It got silent, but not that irritating or awkward kind of silent. It was the sweet and relaxing kind of silent. It felt like they were the only ones that mattered right now. But that relaxing silence was broken by Kenma.

- Kuroo... i love you too. - Kuroo blushed, smiling like an idiot. He looked at Kenma who was looking right into his eyes now. Kuroo saw Kenma blushing, probably even more than he did right now. Without even thinking this through Kuroo went in for a kiss. Their soft lips touched, closing the distance between them. He felt relieved when Kenma kissed back. It was a gentle kiss, one out of pure love. The kiss only lasted a few seconds, but for them it seemed like eternity. Kuroo looked at Kenma who looked tired, probably because of the crying.

- let's sleep now, we'll have all of tomorrow to talk. It's better for you to rest now. - to his surprise Kenma didn't even protest. He just clinged onto Kuroo's shirt and closed his eyes. Kuroo couldn't believe how in love he was with that little kitten of his. He had a soft smile on his face.

- ...Kuroo... never ever leave me like that again or i'll be the reason of your death... - if someone else had said that, it might've sounded like a threat. But Kuroo knew that this was how Kenma showed how much he cared for him. He was happy. He could finally sleep peacefully knowing that they would be together now.

Kenma pov.
- don't worry, i won't Kitten - Kuroo's voice sounded so calming. It was like a lullaby for his ears. Kenma just rolled his eyes at his reply with a small and soft smile on his face, closing his eyes with his head against Kuroo's chest. He could hear his heartbeat, it was calming. And just like that they both went to sleep. It was finally gonna be fine now. He didn't know why Kuroo came earlier but neither did he care. The only thing that mattered was that they could be together, Kuroo was all fine.

Kuroo pov.

Kuroo felt Kenma's breath being deeper and much calmer now, which was a sign of him sleeping. Kuroo had a smile on his face this whole time. He wanted to close his eyes and go to sleep already as well but he glanced at his desk. A picture of them being as kids, framed in a... cat picture frame? Kenma must've found his box. He had to admit that the frame was cute.

Kuroo hugged Kenma tighter to himself without waking him up and went to sleep as well. Their breaths and heartbeats soon became one.

It was gonna be alright now.
