12 | The happy ending

Kenma pov.

Kenma woke up later than expected, Kuroo would usually wake him up sonthey could eat breakfast again. Today was different. Kuroo was still asleep, cuddled by Kenma's side. That must've been one of the first times that Kenma has seen Kuroo sleeping.. well, normal. Or at least, not with his head burried in his pillow, which was the reason of his bed-hair. The cat-eyed boy was still sleepy, yesterday seemed like a dream, but he knew it wasn't one.

Kenma planned on to staying in bed a bit longer, unfortunately his plan shattered like a glass falling of the table, by one single sneeze which woke Kuroo up. Kuroo opened his eyes, looking right into the amber one's of Kenma. It probably took him a minute to remember everything that happened yesterday night as well, cause his smile appeared after a few seconds of silence, right after the confused staring. Kenma smiled back, obviously. This would be how waking up would look like from now on, eh?

- goodmorning Kitten. - Kuroo's morning voice was like a medicine for Kenma, within just a few milliseconds his sleepiness disappeared.
- hey. -
- did you sleep well? - Kuroo asked him that question quite often, but his tone was different now. More caring, happier, even.
- yeah. - he paused for a second, the soft smile not leaving his lips.
- did you? - Kuroo looked even happier after Kenma's question. Oh god this probably looked so cheesy... but sometimes, cheesy was fine.

They soon got out of bed together, Kuroo was making breakfast for both of them, just like he always did, while Kenma was laying on the couch, staring at the ceiling.

- soo.. we're a couple now? - Kenma's eyes didn't leave the ceiling.
- yeah, i think we are. If you'd like to, of course. - That was a dumb question Kenma, what are you doing, you just kissed him yesterday and now it looks like you aren't even sure about anything.
- I- I mean, that was a dumb question, wasn't it? - Kenma softly chuckled, realising his mistake.
- Nothing that leaves your mouth is dumb. -
- quit it, it's morning and you're being cheesy again. -
- says the one who totally didn't pull the 'oh i miss my boyfriend so much' thing while I was gone. -
- ... -

Kenma's eyes left the ceiling after that, glaring at Kuroo with a sight that could nearly kill. His eyes said 'seriously?'

- hey i'm just kidding! -
- good. -

Kenma got to the kitchen table as Kuroo- his now boyfriend, started placing the food on a pair of plates. After that making his way to the table as well.

- when will we tell others? - Kenma was focused on the food, he was actually pretty hungry, somehow.
- they can wait. For now it's only us. - Kuroo kissed Kenma's cheek, leaving the him with a softly flushed tsundere face.
- you're being cheesy again. -
- and you are blushing~ -

A deep sigh left Kuroo's mouth, but a warm smile formed too. Soon both of them started to laugh. It truly was a happy ending, something Kenma didn't really believe in nowadays anymore.

SOOO IT'S FINALLY HERE, I'M SORRY FOR SUCH A LONG WAIT AND THAT THIS CHAPTER IS SO SHORT. I never really expected it to blow up like this! I'm so happy for everyone's support. I would've written it earlier, but my inspiration for this fic really just disappeared. I have one more bonus chapter planned about Bokuaka, and i'll see if i'll finish it! But for now, this is the end!
