Yoongi's POV

As soon as I opened my eyes, Y/N was there yet again. Just like she'd been everyday for the past two weeks.

I was so used to seeing her beautiful face every morning that the thought of not seeing her once I recovered was a hurtful one.

"Good Morning," She chirped in her usual cheerful manner and I frowned at her get-up.

She was dressed more perkily than other days and her hair looked more made up too. She'd clearly put in extra effort into her appearance.

"Where are you going?" I grumbled, jealousy creeping into my tone. "Don't tell me you're meeting a guy because then I'll have to murder someone."

Y/N rolled her eyes and flicked my forehead. "I've got an interview dumbass." She chided. "Since I lost my previous job all thanks to you."

"Yeah, whatever you say." I replied, lazily rubbing my forehead. "Also congratulations. I hope you do well on the interview." I gave her a small smile.

"So emotionless." Y/N shook her head disappointed but handed me my coffee anyway. "So petty. Ah, you annoy me." She groaned. "I put in so much effort to look good today and all you did was think about me going out with another guy!" She exclaimed. "Couldn't you at least have complimented me?"

I chuckled as the slight pain in my chest subsided. "Look at you making demands already." I grinned at her resentful expression.

"You're behaving like a wife would. Complaining about my pettiness and-" I checked her out as she stood defensively, her arms crossed. "-fishing for compliments." I teased.

Y/N turned to glare at me and huffed. "Well, yes, maybe I was fishing for compliments. So what? Is it that bad for me to expect my boyfriend to praise me?" She questioned. "Or maybe I should dress really provocatively next time so that you can actually have a reason to doubt my faithfulness." She snapped and I frowned.

"Hey, I didn't mean that." I mumbled guiltily. "I was just jealous because-" I hesitated. "Because no one wants a wounded and useless guy as their boyfriend. I thought that you had probably changed your mind about me." I swallowed and sought her eyes. My throat bobbed with emotion.  "Taking care of me must be hard right?"

I didn't like the insecurity that underlined my voice but I had to voice my feelings.

"And you look so beautiful that I-" My voice faltered but Y/N's eyes softened as she jumped onto me to engulf me into a hug.

"Don't be stupid, Yoongi." She scolded. "You're the coolest and the most handsome guy I know. If you can love me even if I wear a sack, how dare you think that I'll choose some other guy over you?" She embraced me tighter. "Do you take me for a fool?"

"I'm sorry." I muttered, hugging her back. "I-You really do look great and I know you'll do amazing on your interview so good luck." I mumbled happily against her neck as she nodded into the crook of my shoulder, caressing my back.

"You'll be perfectly alright in some time, Yoongi." She backed away to gaze deep into my eyes. "I'll let you do everything that you want to do to me then." She grinned. "So remember that," She leaned to kiss me but I dodged her.

"Morning breath." I croaked, flustered but Y/N just giggled and pressed her lips to mine, kissing me deeply.

"-remember that and get well soon." She breathed as she got up to leave. "I expect you to be dressed when I return. Whether or not I pass, we're still going out somewhere nearby for lunch." She told. "Also," Her head popped out from behind the door just after she had walked out. "You're paying." She smiled a silly smile. "Since I'm broke."

A fly kiss and she was gone.

"Good luck, baby." I muttered to myself and smiled.

Y/N's POV

I entered Yoongi's apartment screaming with excitement and threw myself onto him as soon as I saw him sprawled out on the sofa.

"You clean up nicely." I smiled, caressing his soft beige shirt.

He responded with a lazy smile and a nod. His eyes were bright as he regarded me coolly, some of the vibrance slowly returning to his pale face.

"Good news?" He quipped silently and I grinned widely.

"They said I could join next Monday." I practically yelled and Yoongi chuckled. "I thought so. There was no way they could reject you when you looked this nice." He hummed as I reddened.

"L-let's go eat." I tugged at his hand but he used it to pull me down.

"Take off your coat. I already ordered." He shrugged.

"But-But I thought we were going out." I spluttered, awkwardly settling on his lap.

Yoongi gently caressed my skin, his fingers trailing over my knuckles. "It's more comfortable at home." He explained. "Plus, all those restaurants are too noisy."

I nodded and leaned against his chest but jolted away when the familiar bump of dressing and bandages didn't meet my hand.

"You-when did you get your dressings removed?" My eyes widened as I scrambled to grab the hem of his shirt and pull it up. "Take it off." I muttered urgently but he began to unbutton it slowly.

Making an impatient noise, I pushed his hands away and practically ripped his shirt to reveal his chest.

As expected, there was no bandage there. And in the place of the wound was a rapidly healing scar.

"I'm all well like you said, Y/N." He grinned. "I went to see the doctor after you were gone and he removed the dressing. I only have to apply some ointments daily so this doesn't leave a mark."

I cupped my face in my hands as I stared at him overwhelmed. I was so glad that he had recovered and my promise from the morning completely slipped my mind until Yoongi smirked.

"Don't tell me you're gonna go back on your words." He gave me a slow, wicked grin and I blushed.

"The food will get cold!" I yelled desperately and wriggled out of his lap but he held me back.

"Tonight, Y/N. Just you and me." He whispered and I gulped.
