It was New Years Eve and Olivia couldn't wait for tonight. She was back in her old room when she stayed in Jersey for the summer trying to pick out an outfit.
Aunt Kayla knocked and walked into the room. "Hey sweetie" Aunt Kayla smiled.
"Hey Aunt Kayla, you think I should wear a dress or a jeans for tonight?" Olivia asked, still looking through her suitcase.
"A dress would look great on you!" Aunt Kayla told her. "I can't wait for you to see the restaurant I helped re-design. It looks so modern and new"
"What's the restaurant called?" Olivia asked, sitting on her bed. Her aunt chuckled nervously, knowing her niece was gonna hate her for this.
"Actually funny thing" Aunt Kayla's face went beet red, "the restaurant is actually owned by the Polibio's and"
"What?" Olivia cut her off. Olivia's face went from smiling to shocked in a matter of seconds. "Please don't say it"
"And they are throwing a New Years Party in celebration of their new remodel" Aunt Kayla told her. Olivia groaned and fell back on her bed. "I'm so sorry sweetheart but this was such a big project for me. It'll get my name out there to start my own business and I know it's the last place you wanna go but I really want my family there"
Olivia sat up and criss crossed her legs. "Aunt Kayla you don't have to apologize about it. I'll make it through. We're here to celebrate you not me dwelling on the past"
Aunt Kayla smiled and hugged her niece. "Oh I can't wait for you to see it! Okay I'll let you get ready" Aunt Kayla left her room with the biggest smile on her face.

Olivia's parents parked at Mattia's dad restaurant. She stepped out the car, remembering all the memories she had here - especially her favorite one. The day Mattia gave her the bracelet. She never took it off until the day her and Mattia finally called it quits. Olivia hid it in a box under her dresser and never looked back.
Olivia and her family walked inside the establishment that was beautifully decorated with black and gold signs, balloons, confetti, streamers and a bunch more.
