Luna outfit^^^

Luna adjusted her backpack strap on her shoulder as she walked through the hallways of McKinley High. "Luna!" She turned towards the voice calling her name and she saw Mike jogging to her in the hallway. "Hey Mike, whats up?" She asked as the boy caught up to her. "I was wondering if you wanted to walk to Glee together." He said as the two continued to walk down the hall. "Yea, we're going to the same place right? Might as well." Luna said, ignoring the people staring at her as she walked down the hallway with a football player. It hadn't been long since Mike and Puck had joined Glee. But it had been long enough for word to get around. "So, no slushy to the face yet?" Luna asked Mike. "Not yet, a few of the guys on the football team have threatened it, but once Puck starts threatening to beat them up they stopped talking." Mike explained. "That's good..." Luna said, nervously playing with her shirt sleeve. She was never very good at small talk. "I don't know if I ever got the chance to thank you for helping the football team learn that dance for our game...it felt really good to win for once." Mike said with a shrug of his shoulders. "You guys can win without silly dance tricks, but I'm glad I was able to help." Luna said as the two made it to Glee's Rehearsal room. Mike opened the door for Luna and the girl smiled as she walked through the door. "Thanks," She said as Mike walked through the door after her. The two walked into the room and Kurt smirked as Luna, the girl rolling her eyes as she went to sit with him and Tina. "He liiikes you." Kurt whispered. "He's being polite." Luna explained. "S-s-s-suuuure." Tina said as Mr.Shue walked into the room, starting Glee rehearsals. Luna looked at everyone in the room, noting that Rachel was once again absent. She had been hoping that Rachel was just being dramatic when she told the group that she was quitting to be the lead role in Cabaret the musical, but after missing over a week of rehearsals it seemed like Rachel had been serious. Luna quickly pushed her thoughts aside so she could focus on Glee rehearsals.

"A singer in a smokin room." Finn sang the lead as Mr.Shue led the group through the number.

"A smell of wine and cheap perfume." Quinn sang Rachel's part, she was doing a really good job. Not as good as Rachel, but very, very good all the same.

"For a smile they can share the night it goes on, and on, and on, and on."

Finn and Quinn sang as the rest of the Glee club backed them up. Quinn suddenly covered her mouth with her hands, running towards the door. The music stopped and Mr.Shue asked if she was okay. Quinn ran out of the room instead of answering. "I think she just had a bad breakfast burrito." Finn explained for her. "Can we please talk about the big elephant in the room?" Kurt asked, putting his hands on his hips. "Your sexuality?" Santana asked sarcastically. "Rachel-" Kurt said, ignoring Santana. "We can't do this without her." He said. "That's not true. We may have to layer Santana or Mercedes over Quinn's solo...but we will be fine." Mr.Shue said. "Maybe for the invitationals, but not sectionals, and certainly not regionals." Artie said, hugging his guitar to his chest. "Wheelchair kid is right. That Rachel chick makes me want to vomit, but she can sing." Puck said. Luna frowned as she nervously shifted from foot to foot, she didn't want to admit it, but everyone was right. Rachel was the only way the team could even think about competing. "Rachel left guys, she's gone. Now if we are going to make this thing work, we can't look back." Mr.Shue said, no one seemed inspired by his speech. The room was silent, until Mr.Shue sighed and dismissed the group for a five minute break. Luna sat down in one of the plastic chairs and pulled her knees up to her chest, she was small enough to curl into herself in the chair comfortably and no one blinked an eye to her. She looked across the room where Mike, Finn, and Puck were talking together. Mike caught her eye and he smiled at her, Luna smiled back. 'Wait, what am I doing?!' she thought to herself, pulling her eyes away from the boy. 'I don't date in high school. I can't. Don't get too attached. I'm leaving in a few years with my brother and sisters.' She thought to herself as she sat by herself in silence. She pulled out her scetchbook from her backpack and started doodling. She heard Kurt walking towards her, but she didn't look up and he and a few others took some seats around her and started talking about gossip or something else. She let out a contempt sigh. This she could do. This was safe.
