Chapter 26

I look at Jaxon who has a smirk on his lips. He walks over to Chandler and grabs the gun from his hands.

"Looks like he never really cared about you." Jaxon says.

"Chandler how could you!" I yell at him.

I throw the gun to the floor and cry. My hands start to shake and I soon realize that I'm having a panic attack. I try to control my breathing, but nothing is helping.

I close my eyes and start to catch my breath, slowly getting my breathing under control. I hear the door swing open and two gunshots go off. I look up and see the two men from the bar laying on the floor, blood coming from their head.

I turn around and see Lanii and Ian with a gun in their hand. I smile when I see them. I can finally leave this place and go home.

Home.

I get sad at the thought of going home. I can't live there anymore, not with what just happened today.

Marcus comes in behind them and walks toward Chandler.

"Watch out!" I yell, seeing Jaxon come out of the corner.

Jaxon raises the gun and shoots Marcus in the chest. Marcus falls down, Ian screaming his name. Ian runs over to him and grabs onto him.

"Marcus, stay with me." Ian says.

Marcus closes his eyes and Ian shakes him.

"No don't die on me! Stay with me Marcus!" Ian yells.

"I love you man. And Chandler, thank you for everything." Marcus says.

He closes his eyes and a tear falls out of Ian's eyes. Chandler stares at them both, his eyes glossy. I look at Jaxon and he raises his gun towards Ian.

"Not today prick." Lanii says as she raises her gun and shoots.

Jaxon falls to the ground, holding onto his chest. A smile spreads across my face.

He's gone.

I don't have to worry about him ever again.

Lanii walks over to me and unties my feet. I stand up and wrap my arms around her. She squeezes me tightly.

"I thought I would never see you again." she says, tears falling from her eyes.

"You can't get rid of me that easily." I say and she laughs.

Ian stands up and unties Chandler. He helps him up and wraps him into a big hug. I smile at them and I turn to Lanii.

"Can we get out of here?" I ask and she nods.

"Let's get you home." she says.

Home.

If she only knew.

I grab my clothes and start folding them together. I put them in my suitcase and start packing all of my stuff . Lanii walks in and sits on the bed.

"Are you sure you want to leave?" she asks me.

"Lanii I can't stay in the house with a man who cheated on me and used me from the very beginning." I say.

"Mary I don't think that's true. I saw the way he acted around you. He loved you with everything in him." she says.

"Well that changed." I say.

I walk into the bathroom and start grabbing all of my makeup. Lanii helps me put my hair stuff and shower stuff in another bag.

Once I get everything packed, I walk back into the room. I zip up my suitcase and set it on the floor. I look around the room and a wave of sadness runs over me as I think about all the memories we had in here.

"Is that the dude from Criminal Minds?" he asks.

"Yes, yes he is. He's only the sexiest human being ever." I say.

"What about me?" he says with a pouty face.

"Oh you're sexy, but no one can be sexier than Matthew Gray Gubler. I've had a crush on him since I've watched Criminal Minds. Spencer Reid is my favorite." I say.

"I will never get tired of that." I say as I roll off of Chandler.

"I will never get tired of you princess." he says and I blush.

I get off the bed but almost fall down. I look back to see Chandler laughing at me and I roll my eyes.

"What is it Mary? You can't handle this dick?" he asks with a smirk.

"Mmm fuck Mary just like that." I say mocking him.

"You can suck dick so fucking good, and let's not talk about how good that pus-" he says but I cut him off laughing.

"Oh shut up." I say.

I stand up and straddle his lap. He stares into my eyes and I stare back.

"Thank you." I say and he raises his eyebrow.

"For?" he asks.

"You saved me today. If you didn't come out there when you did, he probably would've hurt me again. I'm so thankful for you." I say as I lay my head on his chest.

"I would do anything for you princess, anything."

Tears slip from my eyes as I think of the memories we shared together. I really thought that he loved me, turns out I was wrong.

"Mary?" Lanii says, breaking me from my thoughts.

"Sorry. Anyway, I'm going to miss you." I say.

"I wish we could get the apartment back." she says with a frown.

"Me too. I'm glad Ariana is letting me move in with her for a while until I can get a place on my own." I say.

"I'll visit all the time. You know I can't go a day without seeing your dumbass." she says and I laugh.

Noah and Ian walk in and stand beside me. Noah gives me a big hug and sighs.

"You were my twerking bitch. I hate that you're leaving me." he says and I smile.

"You're dating Ariana, I'll see you all the time." I say.

"Good. I need you to party!" he yells and we all laugh.

He pulls away and Ian gives me a hug. I hug him back tightly while he whispers in my ear.

"I'm sorry Mary. For everything that has happened. I just wanted to say that you're one of my best friends and I'm glad that I met you and Lanii." he says.

"Thank you for everything. Just don't break my best friends heart." I say and he laughs.

"I would never." he says.

We pull away and I smile at the three of them. I grab my bags and slide on my shoes.

"I'll see you guys at the funeral next week." I say and they all nod.

I grab my bags and walk downstairs. I say my goodbyes to all the other boys and Lisa. I walk to my car and put all of my bags in the trunk. Once I get them all in, I shut the trunk and look at the house.

I see Chandler staring at me through the window.

The littlest part of me is hoping that he will come out here.

That he will beg me to stay and tell me that it was all a lie and that he loves me.

I hope that he comes and apologizes for saying those things to me.

I hope that he comes and stops me.

I want him to tell me he loves me.

But as my eyes meet his, he turns away and walks away from the window, not even saying goodbye.
