Chapter 21

"You ready princess?" Chandler asks me as he hands me a gun.

"I'm more than ready." I say and he smiles.

He leans down and kisses my lips and pulls away.

"I love you." he says and I smile.

"And I love you." I say.

"Please be safe. And try to be as quick as possible, I don't know if I can keep these cameras hacked for long." Lanii says.

"Baby you know us. We're always safe." Ian says and she rolls her eyes.

Right now, me, Chandler, Ian, Noah, Marcus, and Lanii are getting ready to break into the WildOnes warehouse. They stole over a hundred thousand dollars of guns and supplies and let's just say that Chandler wasn't very happy.

We all get out of the van except for Lanii. She disabled all the cameras and alarms for us, and she doesn't want to go in unless she has too.

"Noah, Marcus, go around and cover the back. Ian, go to the side door and sneak in. Me and Mary will go through the front." Chandler says and everyone nods.

I follow behind Chandler closely, making sure to be aware of my surroundings. This is my first time actually out with him. Me and Lanii went with them the day after me and Chandler went on a date. Sadly Lanii and Ian had to cancel their dinner plans, but he sure as hell made up for it when we got back. We both stayed in the car while the boys went and did whatever they had to do. But this is my first time actually going in, and I'm kind of excited.

Once we get inside, we hear faint laughter in the back. They must all be here. I look at Chandler and he signals for me to follow.

"Mary can you hear me?" Lanii says into the ear piece.

"Yes." I whisper.

"Ok, I'm hacked into their cameras and I can see where they are. There is three of them in a room down the hallway and to the right, and I can see two more in another room upstairs." she says.

"Do you see anyone else?" Chandler says.

"Unless they're hidden from the cameras, I only see five. Ian just came in from the side door." Lanii says.

We walk around until we meet up with the rest of the boys. Ian, Marcus, and Noah all stay downstairs and try to get some of the stuff while me and Chandler head upstairs.

We both walk around and I grab my gun and hold it up. It's better to be safe than sorry. We both enter a room and see boxes full of the stuff they stole.

"We got the stuff. Now we just have to bring it do-" I start to say.

"Mary watch out!" Chandler says.

I turn around and see a guy holding up a gun. The guy shoots, and I'm hit in the arm.

"Fuck!" I yell out in pain.

I raise my gun up and shoot the man in the chest. He falls to the floor and Chandler grabs the gun from out of his hand. He runs over to me.

"Baby are you okay?" he asks and I nod.

"It's just my arm, I'll be fine." I say.

I hear a loud bang and Chandler is hit upside the head. He falls to the ground next to me, a little pool of blood forming. I raise my gun and pull the trigger, shooting the person in the leg. I look at their face and see it is some woman. She tries to stand up but I aim the gun at her face.

"You should have just let us get our shit and leave. Now you're going to have your brains blown out." I say and I pull the trigger.

I watch as her body slowly falls back and a smirk forms on my lips. I turn around and run over to Chandler.

"Baby are you okay?" I say, lifting his head off the ground.

I see a big gash on the top of his head and I know he will have to get stiches. At this point, my arm has gone numb and I can't feel it.

"Yeah I'm okay." he says as he stands up.

"Fuck Mary are you okay?" I hear Lanii say into the ear piece.

"We're okay. Is everyone else okay?" I ask her.

"I can't see you guys anymore. The signal was cut off. Where are you?" she asks.

"Me and Chandler are upstairs." I say.

"You killed my sister you bitch!" I hear behind me.

I'm grabbed from behind and feel a gun get pressed to my head. Chandler has his gun aimed at the person, his eyes full of darkness.

"Let go of her." he says.

"Put the gun down, or I will shoot her brains out." he says.

"Just like I did your sister?" I say through my teeth.

He grips my arm where I got shot and I yell out in pain.

"Shut the fuck up." he says.

"LET HER GO!" Chandler yells, getting ready to pull the trigger.

"You pull the trigger, a bullet goes straight through her brain." the man says.

"Or I'll kill you." I hear a female voice say behind me.

I turn around and see Lanii with a gun to her head and I smile.

That's my bitch.

I use this opportunity to knock the gun out of his hands. The man slams me against the wall and punches me in the face. Lanii runs over to him and knocks him on the ground. He shoves her off and kicks her in her face. She screams cuss words and the man stands up. He pulls another gun out and aims at me but Chandler pulls the trigger, and the man falls down.

I run over to Lanii and help her up. Her lip is busted open but she looks to be okay.

Ian, Marcus, and Noah all come running in with their guns up.

"Are you guys okay? We were fighting the men downstairs." Ian says.

"Fuck we're okay. We should probably go to a hospital. Mary is shot in the arm and I have a gash in my head. Lanii might need a few stiches in her lip." Chandler says.

"Are they all dead?" I ask Ian and he nods.

"We killed them all downstairs. No one else was here." Noah says.

"Noah, Marcus, stay here and load up the rest of our shit. Call the other guys and have them come help you. Anything else that might be useful for us, take it. Take all money too. Ian, take us to the hospital." Chandler says and everyone nods.

We all start walking out the door and I stop Lanii.

"You saved my life today. I know you don't like being involved with this shit." I say and she smiles.

"I wasn't going to let my best friend die. And I would do anything for you guys." she says.

Ian turns around and picks Lanii up. She giggles and he kisses her forehead.

"I'm so happy you're okay baby. What you did was so brave." he says, walking out of the building.

"Princess are you okay?" Chandler asks.

"I'm not in that much pain anymore. I'll be okay." I say.

"Do you think you can keep doing this?" he asks me.

"Hell yes. I had no trouble shooting them. Especially that bitch. She hurt my baby." I say and he laughs.

He leans down and kisses my lips.

"God you're such a badass. How did I get so lucky." he says and I smile.

"Well I learned from the best." I say and he laughs.

"Guys, you need to get out of there now. The cops are coming!" I hear Lanii say.
