Dean dashed to yank open the door. When the door wouldn’t give in he pulled out the sonic screwdriver the Doctor gave him. After innumerable attempts of using the sonic's power, he kicked the door. He slid down the door and flung his handled device from him.

The tall figure standing beside the heart of the TARDIS watched Dean with solemn eyes. He pulled the leverage to start up the time machine, the soft cry of the machine began and trembled as they flew off in space and time.

“Wake up, Dean, we’re here,” whispered the Doctor as he pulled open the door.

Dean struggled to get up on to his feet. Once up, he , “So now the door opens.”

“Dean,” the Doctor huffed before continuing, “I had no idea… I would have pulled her in but she forced the door shut.”

“We can go back and save her!” Dean hurried back to the main panels.

The Doctor stood holding the door opened, shook his head no and stepped out.

Dean followed him and shouted out, “You called yourself a Time lo—” However stopped when he saw a few meters down Zandra with a bunch of little kids hitting a red star piñata.

“How?” Dean furrowed his eyebrows as he looked down from a balcony into the streets.

“She was in Mexico a year before she discovered her true being.” The Doctor stood by the boy.

The brunet girl stood laughing as the kids missed the piñata. Both began to smile when they began to chant to song to whack the piñata.

“Why did she had to die?” Dean mumbled when the piñata cracked open and spilled the candy onto the heads of the kids.

“She was protecting us.” The Doctor glanced at the young man.

“C’mon Doctor, stop keeping secrets.”

“Okay, son.” The Doctor adjusted his cuffs before explaining, “This world knew her as Zandra, her previous life as Zolhandria. But in the past, present and future she will forever more be known as… Wait a second, let me turn of the translating mode.” He pulled out his sonic screwdriver and the blue tip and futuristic buzz flourished.

His weary eyes met Dean’s. “She is the brilliant Sol.”

Dean stepped back, tilt his head and stared at the sun for a couple seconds, watching if the burning star would recognize him. But the sun continued to glow as customary. He sighed, crossed his arms and walked back to the blue box.

The tall brunet figure observed the festivity; Zandra’s voice was more elevated than the rest. Before the Doctor returned to his ship, he heard the last bit of the piñata song, “Y tu tiempo se acabo.”

In the end, as if the TARDIS knew, she translated it for him, “And your time is up.”

However, my time was not up. I continued to radiate each day to thank them for another marvelous life.
