Zeus walks down the large hallway in his large governmental looking office. Looking for his wife Demeter, he slams open every door in fury, waiting for the dust to clear before he searches for his wife.
"Where IS SHE?!"
He booms at a house servant.
With a trembling finger, the enslaved man points down the hall and to a closed door with gold handles.Zeus stomps down the hall with flaming rage and breaks down the door with his bare hands.
"WHY DID YOU NOT INFORM ME THAT OUR THIRTEEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAS BEEN CHOSEN FOR THE GAME OF WAR?!?!" He yelled at his wife, partially knowing the answer.
"Because I knew that it would upset you. But I thought you knew?" Demeter said calmly. She knew in the back of her mind that retaliating back at her loyal husband would fire up the metaphorical flames so mush that it would literally burn Olympus to a crisp.
"Well, now you know I didn't. Thank you for remaining loyal." Zeus said. He was heartbroken.

Persephone's heart was ready to explode from her chest as she went to "The Decision". That was when twelve gods and twelve goddesses were to be chosen to participate in the Game of War.
That was when the gods and goddesses took place in a horrible annual event that was deemed tradition upon the gods 1,000,000 years before Zeus was even born.
It was also when the twenty four gods and goddesses fought to the death on a battlefield with nothing but what their bare hands could conjure up.
When she arrived, Hera walked up to the stained glass podium, her shimmery red dress sparkling in the daylight.
"Welcome to the Game of War decision!" She announced. Persephone hadn't been listening to when the gods were picked, but the goddesses didn't seem any more important.
Until she heard her name.
