This story is Greek mythology based and it is kind of similar to Hunger Games.
Persephone is chosen for the Game of War. She has to keep it secret, but will it be that easy?
Her mentor is Artemis, but she is losing hope. She loses it all when she goes missing. Artemis isn't to be found anywhere, and Persephone is going in alone, untrained.
Not knowing how to fight, she needs to fend for herself in a battle to the death with people like Ares, who is literally the god of war.
Then, Artemis's capture is being used against Persephone when an unknown blackmailer threatens to kill Artemis.
Then the story switches over to Selene and Demeter, who both are roaming around Olympus looking for something.... But they don't even know what it is.
As they embark out to find who they're supposed to be, there's always battle, capture, confusion and a little unconsciousness to get them off track, maybe even dead.
Zeus, the oldest and wisest must protect them all... But will he be able to????

Dark Shadows (#1 of Dark Shadows Series) |Old Version|
The man on the throne abruptly stood up, his dark black eyes shining with an untammed flame, one that turned everything into embers. It was obvious that this powerful man did not like those who spoke back, espeically a small human girl like the one in front of him. The human girl felt the anger radiate off the man and started to run towards the entrance she came from, only to suddenly feel arms wrap around her waist, crushing her against a very solid chest. She opened her mouth to yell, but a strong hand covered her mouth. "You are a fiesty little girl." It was evident that the man was smirking in his voice; he was enjoying her fear. "Now, I do not want to punish you so early. So please, be the good girl that you are and be quiet. Not that screaming will do you any good; you are in the Underworld, after all." --- It had been five years after the death of her older sister before nineteen year old Katherine Bakers could even sleep peacefully at night. She had witnessed her own sisters murder, leaving scars beyond compare. She withdrew from her family and became a quiet recluse. But old nightmares come to life when she is knocked out and is taken by a stranger. Only this stranger is a god: Hades, God of the Underworld. Hades is a very dangerous man who rules the Underworld with an iron fist with no immorse for punishments of the wicked. He has a stone-cold heart that feels like ice, as no one has been able unthaw his frozen heart. And he is slowly losing time. A shattered human and the god of the dead; a new take of Persephone and Hades. Hades |Lesbian Version|
| A Wattpad Featured Story | Hades was well-cast to rule over the land of the dead. But what if Hades, the fearsome monarch of the Underworld was, in fact, a goddess? Everyone called her, 'Lord of the Dead' out of mockery since she prefers the company of women. She was considered an isolated and violent immortal, who loathed change and was easily given to a slow black rage like no others. But then everything changed when the dark goddess met the daughter of Demeter, Persephone. Now the tale of Hades and Persephone will be retold with a sprinkle of twists and turns. |LGBT content. Thirteen girls had lived a pretty crazy life, which just got even crazy. Two people named Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase come to pick them up, claiming they are some kind of demigod. Soon they figure out that life is a lot harder than they thought it was. Monsters are crawling all over the world, waiting to feast on their flesh. They are taken to Camp Half-Blood, a safe haven for demigods, and taught how to fight...for about twenty seconds, then everything starts to turn upside down. Satyrs from all over the country have been captured and it's their siblings job to rescue them. Their siblings are given a prophecy, only to later realize that the prophecy wasn't really meant for them in the first place. The eight were the captured, not the satyrs, and now it's the thirteen demigods job to rescue their siblings from the torture that awaits them. The Tale of Hades & Persephone
This is a rewrite of my previous fan fiction "Tales of Hades and Persephone" as well as some inspiration from the original myth (and perhaps other retellings I enjoy). Hades has been alone for far too long. One day he pays a visit to Zeus and requests to marry Persephone. The King of the Gods agrees and even recommends Hades kidnap Persephone, since it's unlikely Demeter will agree to the marriage. Persephone is a young Goddess of Earth curious about the world of the mortals. She's always helping her mother Demeter, but one day while watching the mortals she wanders off only to fun into a handsome stranger. After a brief conversation, Persephone finds herself swept away to the Underworld. Will Hades manage to get Persephone to fall in love with him? What will Demeter do when she discovers her daughter is missing and it's all Zeus' fault? Will the mortals be able to survive the wrath of the Gods?Complete
