It had felt like time had stopped, as Reggie had pulled her away from the scene, his strong arms holding her back as she pled for his innocence. The strawberry-blonde had felt helpless; but not as helpless as Fangs Fogarty must've been feeling. Aria was in restraints, and she had been dragged home by Reggie, where her mother was stood with her arms crossed against her chest, and both teenagers could practically see the steam exploding from her ears.

Aria's mother had taken things into her own hands from there; Reggie had been dismissed and as her father was still at work and Elle was still at school, Adelaide had taken it upon herself to scold her teenage daughter. Aria had been dragged to her bedroom by her mother, Adelaide's grip strong on her wrists, before she opened the door to Aria's bedroom. After making sure the door was locked securely, the mother let her child go. "Aria, what was you thinking?" Adelaide exclaimed shrilly.

"Mom, what are you talking about?" Aria questioned, and it had felt like the entire world had closed in on her, with no room to breathe or think. Her breath hitching slightly, and her heart beating faster, she looked towards her mother.

"How dare you cause a scene like that, I even had Weatherbee on the phone!" Adelaide scolded, livid with her daughter. "Your own boyfriend said you were screaming at Sheriff Minetta, and that he had to grab you and bring you home! What, because of a murderer?"

Aria's tears that had been bottled up all morning had begun to roll down her ivory-colored cheeks, smudging her makeup as her hands began to tremble with anger. "Mom, Fangs is innocent! He didn't do anything, he doesn't deserve to be thrown behind bars! It was, for the millionth time, the Black Hood!" Aria screamed. "Fangs was with Kevin!"

"He is a cold-blooded killer, Aria!" Her mother hollered. "You're officially banned from seeing any of those serpents. You aren't to step foot on the Southside! And I'm going to be giving Melinda a call and tell her to make sure Reggie keeps you in line. Heck, I'll pay the Mantles! You aren't anything to do with the serpents anymore!"

Aria couldn't believe it; she couldn't ban her from visiting the Southside. From seeing Toni, Sweet Pea, Fangs and Jughead. It was unacceptable. Not when her own mother was once a loyal member of that gang, and her aunt still was. "Mom, are you saying I can't see Aunt Natalie as well?" Aria asked. "Because I am. I will visit the Southside every day, over and over again. I will get Fangs out of jail, I will see my friends. And you know what? I'm going to join the serpents!" Aria screamed.

Furious, her mother shook with anger. "No. Because you won't be leaving this house. Reggie will be picking you up every day, dropping you off. I will have Elizabeth Cooper spend the school day with you, or even better, Cheryl Blossom! And I will pay."

Aria was beyond angry by this point, and before she knew it, her fist collided with the bedroom wall. "Is that all I am to you? You'll pay my own friends and boyfriend?" The fuming strawberry-blonde screamed. "And you won't lock me in here, Mom. I will get out. Whether it's through a window or the back door, I don't care. I'll be out of this house!" Aria promised, and Adelaide, with no answer and just a red face, unlocked the bedroom door and left. Knowing there was no lock on the outside, Aria ran over and tried to open her bedroom door, however it wouldn't budge.
