You were rich. That much is to be expected, seeing as you live in a house that is the equivalent of a mansion. But despite the rumors of your school, the money wasn't given to you. You earned it.It took a lot of hard work and a very long time.
And now, standing in front of your door, you realized you would lose 1,987 dollars is one go.
Covering your face with your hands, you groaned, knowing just how much more work you would need to do to pay off all the money you had just blown. You never enjoyed your work in the first place, so it was safe to say that you were dreading returning to your jobs and requesting to work longer for a bigger paycheck.
Well, there was nothing that could be done. The delivery was already on its way, it should arrive any minute now, and you couldn't exactly cancel your order. Besides, it was far too important to cancel, even if you could.
The honking of a horn snapped you out of your thoughts, signifying that the delivery man was already here. After flicking a switch that would electrically open your golden front gate, you walked out of the house and across your front lawn. The delivery man gave you a large square shaped box, which you happily accepted.
Walking back up to your house as the gates closed automatically, you sighed, still upset about the cost. Once you made it back inside, locked the doors and checked to see if the gate was locked, you sighed, slumping against the door. Yep, it was official. You were absolutely gonna hate going back to work.
After placing the heavy cardboard box on the floor, you walked over to your kitchen, grabbing a knife and using it to cut open the thick, industrial grade tape.
Setting the knife gently on the side, you opened the box's flaps, revealing the sturdy yet expensive item you had purchased not too long ago. With much effort, you pulled the item out of the box and carried it to the entrance of the guest room.
Rapping gently on the door, you waited a few seconds for a response, only to recieve silence. Taking that as a sign the destroyer was asleep, you quietly turned the doorknob and entered the room.
Quickly assembling the item and placing it near the corner of the bed, you quickly raced back outside, grabbing a Post-It and pencil before jotting down a quick note. Once the note was written, you ran back to the guest room and placed it on the item, before exiting the room once more and shutting the door behind you.

Bolting upright, Error woke up from his most recent nightmare, blanket soaked in a cold sweat. This nightmare was slightly more unsettling than the last, taking place in the house where he currently took refuge.
He imagined that an unwanted guest was present in the house, being a somewhat tall, cruel, and chilling skeleton. He dreamt that the trespasser had doused the home's interior in gasoline, before grabbing y/n and taking her outside, where they forced her to watch as it set the building alight.
Error had desperately been trying to escape, but as the burning building began to fall apart above him, he was unable to. The last thing he remembered were the horrified protests of his caretaker.
Error shivered, remembering his nightmare had brought back unpleasant emotions. Trying to distract himself from the slight fear he felt, he looked around, wondering if he would find y/n asleep in the corner of the room yet again.
While he didn't find the female, what he did find was a peculiar looking chair, one that he wasn't quite familiar with. It was cushioned and padded, with a wide footrest near the bottom. It had a cupholder and armrests, accompanied with a little compartment where one would presumably store small items.
