Chapter 4: Fortunate Predicament?

Kazuto POV

I'm going to propose today!! I kept thinking it in my mind. Me and Asuna woke up at 1:00 PM seeing as we'll be up late for New Year's.

We started off our day with lunch. We enjoyed a delightful meal, one Asuna cooked.

Me and Asuna decided it was a good Idea to visit our daughter. We dove into ALO and there we found ourselves in our cabin hugged by our daughter.

"Mommy! Daddy!" She exclaimed.

Me and Asuna were more than ecstatic to see our daughter.

"Guys I'm going to cook something okay?" Asuna offered.

"Okay!" In which me and Yui happily responded.

"Yui, today is a special day."

"Because it's New Year's?"

"Well yes but today I'm going to propose to Mommy."

She had a confused look on her face.

"But daddy, you and mommy have been married for years?"

"In real life, me and mommy aren't married silly."

"Oohhhh Yay!"

"Shhh mommy might hear."

"Oh, yay..." she whispered.

"The ring looks like mommy's eyes!"

"Oh so very beautiful!"

"Exactly." We laughed then Asuna arrived.

"Food's ready." We both shut up.

*Time Skip*

11:20 PM

Me and Asuna ate a late dinner. We just had fast food because we didn't want to waste any time.

We headed for the tree, which she didn't know we were headed.

Once we arrived, she was happy.

"Kirito! The view is amazing!"

"Not as amazing as you." I said.

"You're so cheesy!" She laughed and playfully punched me.

We chatted for a while when suddenly a couple arrives at the top of the hill. Both of them were blonde, one had blue eyes and one had green eyes.

"Oh umm sorry. We didn't know there were other people going to be here." The green eyes boy said.

I didn't want to be rude but this may ruin our perfect night.

It's 11:45 and we hadn't talked at all for about 15 mins. It was very awkward. We were leaned on the tree, sitting on the ground. On the left of the tree was the blonde girl, then the boy, then me, then Asuna.

Me and the boy shift and bump a bit. An object falls out of each of our pockets. We look at the boxes, mine black and his blue. We both blushed and winked at each other. Maybe this wouldn't be ruined after all.

11:59 PM. There were 45 seconds left. Me and the boy got up and held out our hands for each of our girls.

We counted down together by looking at the clocks on our phones. We counted down:

The fireworks went off and we both said:
"Will you marry me?"

Each of our girlfriends started crying and took the ring. Mine was amber and the boy's was sapphire. The gems matched the eye color of each of our girls.

Once they put the rings on, we watched the fireworks in awe.

Once they were over, I was the first to break the ice...

"This is a fortunate predicament, hi my name's Kazuto and this is my girlfriend, well fiancée, Asuna." I said.

"This is a real crazy coincidence, my name is Eugeo and this is my now fiancée Alice." He said smiling.

"Wait you didn't plan this!" Asuna and Alice shouted at the same time, then laughed.

"This is crazy, what are the chances we would come to this place to express our love at the same time?!?" Asuna said.

"I know! What are the chances?!?"

We all started talking and having a blast. We soon became friends and exchanged numbers. That is not the last time we would see them but the first something like that will happen. Me and Asuna went to bed smiling. Now time to announce are engagement...
