"Heave!" Once more, they neared the vines, only to miss them by inches. After one more swing, Jacqueline grasped onto the wall, as did the others.
"Start to climb!" Gibbs shouted and they did just that.
"Come on! It'll take all of us to crew the Black Pearl." Will, you didn't! Of course it doesn't take all of us!
"Actually, you wouldn't need everyone. About six would do." Someone from the other cage pointed out the dreaded obvious. Let the race begin.
"Oh dear." Somebody murmured. She picked up her pace along with everybody else with her.
"Hurry!" Will yelled.
"Come on!" She shouted. After another quick moment of scaling the wall, Will whispered-snapped at them.
"Stop, shh. Shh." She peered up at what Will saw, only to find a Pelegosto crossing the bridge. Across from her, the others slowly advanced up the cliff.
"What are they doing? Stop!" Will told them as quietly as possible.
"Sidney!" She met the eyes of her crew member before he peeled his gaze away. Damn you.
"Snake!" The same man from earlier held a red snake in his hand, and all the men yelled. She watched in horror as they lost their grip and fell to the depths of the cliff. Their screams carried through the air. Not good. The boy on the bridge noticed them fall, along with her and the crew on the wall.
"Move!" She barked as the Pelegosto hurried away. They resumed their scaling of the cliff quickly.

"Roll the cage!" They had made it to the top of the cliff, cut loose from the rope holding them up. Pelegostos screamed in the distance, and she yelped as their cage flew down a hill. She bumped into a crew member, unsure who it was. After a treacherous minute they reached an end to their rolling.
"Pick up the cage!" She listened to Will, the sounds of the natives coming closer.
"Come on lads! Lift it like a lady's skirt." She snorted at Gibbs's comment and ran with the rest of the men. They dashed across the island, the men chasing coming closer. She, along with the rest, yelled as the cage suddenly dropped. She glanced down to find a river below them, and she prepared herself for impact. She crashed into the water, a spear landing by her a moment later. She held her breath and sank lower into the water as spears rained down on the group. After another moment, the attack ceased, and she broke the surface. Around her, the Pearl's crew popped up, and she met Will's eye. He nodded to her slightly, and she smirked.
"Well done, William." He smiled lightly, and she joined the men at land.
"Come on, to the Pearl." Gibbs led the others, and she spared another look at the island.
"Jacqueline." She whipped her head towards Will, who had waited for her as the others went on. She silently jogged ahead. They made it to the beach where the Black Pearl was stranded. She climbed aboard as orders were barked by Gibbs.
"Make ready to sail, boys!" She narrowed her eyes as she noticed Pintel and Ragetti, Barbossa's old crew members.
"What about Jack?" She watched the exchange between Will and Gibbs. She felt torn herself, as of course she didn't want to leave without Jack. But she knew if they wanted to survive it might be necessary.
"Oi!" Her heart lifted and she snapped her attention to the shore. She couldn't help but laugh as Jack bolted towards them. However, her good mood faltered when the entire Pelegostos tribe came into view, chasing after Jack.
