most days vinny didn't use his face cam when streaming because he didn't like the unwanted attention, or the distraction from the game he'd be playing. however, when it came to call of duty games, he used a different persona to stream with a face cam. v-dub. as he promised, this week he was going to stream call of duty: black ops III. a face cam stream. everything about that made him a little nervous, but he went along with it.

normally, when vinny streamed, kali would sit on the couch and sort of watch the game he played even though she couldn't have the full experience of it. she still liked to be there when he streamed. however, since it was a v-dub stream, she knew she should probably stay upstairs and just watch it on twitch for the full effect, but she didn't exactly go through with her plans. it was around 1am, and she was still sitting on the couch with her ears filled with vinny's low voice he used for v-dub. oh sorry, no- just v-dubs normal voice.

without thinking, vinny turned on the cam to notice another person sitting behind him. "oh shit," he cursed, quickly turning the cam back off. his hands gripped the green screen beside him, and moved it into the camera's view. muting his mic, vinny turned to kali as her perplexed expression caught his eye. "v-dub."

"right. sorry." she stood from the couch and was about to head for the stairs, before vinny stopped her.

"it's fine, kali. they can't see you." he offered her a soft smile as she returned to the couch. "oh shit," vinny cursed yet again. chat was exploding with questions. vinny had forgotten to mute his mic, and the chat had seen they mystery woman behind him only moments before. "v-dub has a girlfriend!?" he read aloud in an animated voice. "yeah guys, yeah... i'm pretty cool like that." chat continued to explode at the sudden announcement, but vinny tried to ignore it. "you want to see her?" pondering whether or not he should show her face for a moment, vinny cringed at the thought of them meeting someone he's been trying to keep away from the media.

"wait actually?" the woman questioned with a straight face. vinny nodded to her but didn't motion for kali to come into the camera view. usually vinny would be concerned about all of this, but hey, this is v-dub. kali could be anyone.

"damn... ok. come here." kali stood from the couch with anxiety, and entered the camera's view. he'd never done anything like this before because he felt like chat was imposing on his life, but this one time he allowed it. never again. chat was filled with mixed emotions, but he tried to keep it out of kali's view since he didn't know what most would say. "so... this is my girl. name's kali." the woman laughed lightly at his tough persona. "wait- what the fuck?" pausing, vinny turned his head and inspected what the girl was wearing. "are you... wearing vinny's cardigan..."
