It's always said that a parent's love for the their children is meant to mean something to both parent and child no matter what. Sometimes relationships don't go that way. Sometimes it feels like a war between parent and child no matter how hard they both try to get it under control.

The love they say they have for you is sometimes tiring depending on the situation you're in. Sometimes I think it's useless trying to talk to them or even try to spend time with them since their always focused on work. Sometimes I think I'm not even worth their time. Maybe it's true but I'll never know.

"Y/N sweetie I won't be home until later."

"Of course you aren't."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Think about it."

I shut my room door in their face. I know that they're my parent in all but I can't respect someone who barely gives me their attention to time. I throw myself back on my bed exhausted from today or at least from them. Why can't we just be a normal family who loved spending time with each other than not spending time at all together?

I glance at my clock that read 11:23 AM. Alone in the house. My only parent figure gone out to work? Who works on the weekend. Why not spend time with your family or at least your daughter for that matter. Oh, I forgot he doesn't have a life outside work. How could I forget?

I waste time away looking up at the ceiling. It's more interesting than doing nothing at all. I would check my phone but it's useless because I know that no one has texted me or sent me some kind of stupid meme that could possibly make my day better. But nope none of that. As soon as I say that my phone goes off. I smile at the message that was sent.

Q🌚💍- Since I know you and I know that you're probably bored. How about we go somewhere?

I can't help but feel giddy at the message. He makes my day better.

Me- Sounds interesting Mr. Ji. But where do you have in mind?

Q🌚💍- You know our favorite place. Take your time. I'll be here.

I roll my eyes at him being cheesy before sending a quick reply and going to get dressed. Slight nervousness bubbles at the bottom of my stomach but I just ignore it. With my bag in hand, I head downstairs and grabbed the keys. As soon as the doors locked I run to his car.

His soft laughs fill my eardrums as I settle into my seat. I truly missed this. His shoes me his dimplied smile making my night more better. He presses a soft kiss to my cheek before starting the car and beginning our adventure.

"So....did you miss me?"

"You know I did asshole. You were literally gone for two weeks."

"I know and I'm sorry for that."

"Mhmmm."

"But hey I brought you a present."

"You didn't have to Q."

"I wanted too but you aren't getting it until we get to our destination."

"Sometimes you're annoying. You know that."

"I love you too."

Through the whole entire ride he was telling me all about the thing he saw and that he wished I had came with him. I wish I had too. Just to escape the hellhole I call home.

"Where are we going?"

"Don't worry about it. Now sit back and enjoy the ride."

The rest of the ride was quiet until we finally pulled up to the place. I got out the car stunned by the beautiful sight. The beach set as a movie theatre. I turn to Changmin who smiles at me. I run into his arms hugging him tightly.

"You didn't have to do this."

"I know how much you have been stuck at home with your dad especially since I was gone. I wanted to take you away from him and that house. So here we are."

"You're too sweet."

He smiles at me before taking my hand and leading down to the beach. We cuddled close other the covers as we watched some movies. I'm thankful for him. I kissed his cheeks as we cuddled.

"I really missed you."

"I missed you too."

He kissed my lips. He held me close as I laid my head on his chest. I missed this. He makes me happy. He takes me away.
