When Mikky opened her eyes and found that she was laying in a pleasantly warm bed, she couldn't stop the smile from spreading across her face, nor the purr rumbling in her chest. Akeno's head was resting on her chest, though she didn't at all seem disturbed by the vibrations, so Mikky assumed she had been purring the whole time, or at the very least, on and off.
She didn't move. She didn't want to. She didn't want to wake Akeno up or move from under the covers. She glanced to the side without moving her head, careful not to disturb her sleeping partner. She glanced over to the other bed in the room finding Shiva curled up in her own blankets with a content expression on her face as she slept.
Mikky allowed a few more moments to pass. It was only when the suns rays crept through the curtain and onto her own face that she decided to wake her companion. She gently ran her fingers through Akeno's hair with a smile, careful not to pull or tug on her ears in any way. Said ears flicked at the first few touches before she seemed to realize the rythem and they no longer reacted to Mikky's touch. Instead her eyes flickered opened slowly followed by a yawn with a rather adorable fox-like animal noise escaping her lips as she did.
"I didn't want to wake you, but we should get moving. We don't know when Alice is going to get here and we should probably find Sarah before then." Mikky told her.
"I understand. Though I truly wish we did not need to. I would much rather stay in bed with you." Akeno murred as she lightly brushed her cheek into Mikky's collarbone.
"As would I." Mikky agreed, glancing over to Shiva and finding her still asleep. "I suppose we should wake her as well."
"Of course." Akeno rolled off of Mikky and stretched on her side of the bed as Mikky stood up and moved to Shiva's bed, gently shaking her shoulder.
Shiva's eyes opened slowly before managing a gentle smile up at Mikky. "Did I sleep in?" She asked.
"No. We have plenty of time. We just wanted to wake you as we woke. I would hate to have you wake with neither of us in the room." Mikky answered.
"How's your head? You had quite a bit to drink." Shiva teased as she rolled out of bed herself. They turned away from each other as they changed into clean clothes with Mikky pulling her gear back on.
"I woke up with my mind crystal clear. Though Akeno's divinity likely doesn't hurt my recuperation." Mikky raised a playful eyebrow at Akeno who was fully dressed but laying on her stomach on the bed with her tail waving through the air above her as she watched the cat with a playful grin.
"If I did, I didn't do it on purpose. I suppose I could have healed you in my sleep? Or perhaps my nature increased the process." The fox shrugged. "Should we get moving or would you perchance like to continue to laze about?"
"I would rather laze about." Mikky confessed. "But we should probably get up and get on with the day. We need to find Sarah."
"Then let's be off then." Shiva answered, correcting her own vest and motioning for the door. She had pulled her backpack back on and looked like she was ready to leave this place behind. She was probably rather excited to see Alice again.
Akeno rolled onto her feet her tail swishing playfully behind her as she walked past Mikky, gently touching her shoulder as she followed after Shiva. The three of them headed down the stairs finding that vampire sitting at the bar with a happy grin on her face as she spoke to the bar keep. As they made their way past she turned and waved off the bartender, leaving a few gold pieces on the bar before making her way towards them.
She pulled her hood up as she got close, but Shiva stepped forwards with a smile of her own, offering her hand. The vampire shook it with a grin. "Are you sure there's nothing else I could do for you?" She asked.
