Day by day, Y/n watched the trio is going somewhere after classes and they seem so busy. She often founded them going back to their common room after curfew. Not only them, some other Gryffindor students are with them too.
They didn't tell her anything but instead leaving her alone to go back to their common room after classes. Feeling empty? Yes, she is. She did understand that Harry avoiding to tell her anything since he didn't trust her.
Umbridge is somehow creating a team of students that called Inquisitorial Squad. They're likely the prefect of the school and most of Slytherin's students are in there especially Draco and his goons. But, she didn't care about those stuffs and live her life at Hogwarts as normal as possible even Umbridge can't stop creating some ridiculous rules and the school seems to be a prison for the students.
They can't do anything they used to do before. For example, the Weasley's twin has been banned and they can't pull any prank often like always.
"Okay, class. You may dismiss. Don't forget to finish the work I gave!" Professor Flitwick reminds his students as they're finish their lesson on that day.Y/n packed all of her books in her bag and suddenly a ripped parchment falls from Harry's notebook, she picked it up on the floor. She's about to give it back to him but he seems in hurried so did Ron and Hermione, leaving the girl alone in the class. So, she decided to fold it and keep it inside her pocket.
"I'll give this later." She thoughts and on her way to walks out of the class. "Miss Laurel!" Professor Flitwick called as she turns her heels to look at the small teacher. "Yes, professor?" she raised an eyebrow."Last week, you told me that you wanted to borrows the second, third and fourth year Charms textbook. So, I've got them for you." Flitwick smiles. "Thank you, professor." She says gratefully. "Here you go." On a flick of his wand, the books are already on the table besides her.
"I hope you're studying well for your OWLs and do your best since you've missed a lot." Flitwick says. "Likely yes. I need to get Outstanding for Charms." Y/n exclaims. "You can asks help from Miss Granger, she's your friend." Flitwick says. "Yes, the friend that keeps secret from their friend." Y/n huffed."She surely have an explanation why she's keeping something from you and we can't always share our secret, Y/n." Flitwick advice. "Thanks for the advice, professor." Y/n nods, he's right.
She shouldn't thought of that. The teacher gave her a soft smile. "I need to go now, professor. Thanks for the books again." Y/n says, carrying the books and leaving the room.
Sometimes, she's just feeling mad and sad that her friends are keeping secret from her. That's not likely what she's mad about. She just doesn't like the way they behave recently; they're just leaving her just like that after classes. At first, she thought that maybe they are used to be together without her for years. The thing is they sometimes ignored her when she's asking question. Maybe, Harry told them about what he said to her before.
About not trusting her.
"I wish Hagrid is here. So, I can talk to him about stuff. It's somehow lonely." Y/n sighs, watching over Hagrid's hut far away from the castle. Then, she remembered about the parchment that fall from Harry's notebook and decided to take a look at it. She's just being so curious about what's written there. She unfolded it as she founds out it's written likely a name list on the parchment.
"Dumbledore Army?"She furrowed an eyebrow and looks at the name. She found the trio name and the name of the Gryffindor students who are always going with them back to the common room lately. She found other names to.
"What is the purpose of this thing?" she asks herself, taking a deep thought. "Is this is the secret that they're keeping away from me?" she sighs. "But, it might just a name list that he wrote." She quickly slipped away her bad thought. "Let it be." She sighs and folding the parchment back and put it in her pocket.
