CHAPTER 15

It's Christmas Day! Y/n knows that Christmas would be different this year without her mother (well, her stepmother). But, still she's still super excited about it. It's her favorite seasons of the year after Spring season. Living in the muggle world means she would celebrate Christmas as other muggle does.

She actually enjoys it when decorating the house with Christmas trees, lights, presents and even baking her favorite fruit cake without using magic. Y/n usually do all these things with her father and Theresa doesn't enjoying the moment since she too sticks around with magic.

Yesterday, she was so busy wrapping her friends gift since she bought it last minute and decided to owl those gifts for them. Y/n excitedly walks downstairs as she saw the whole living room is fully decorated. She smiles happily at the sight of her father coming from the kitchen, wearing an apron and his black shirt has some flour on it.

"Merry Christmas, father!" Y/n says excitedly and hugged her father. "Merry Christmas too, my flower." Hayden smiles happily at his daugher.

"Don't tell me that you bake the cake without me." Y/n exclaims. "Well, I just did." Hayden chuckles. "Why wouldn't you wait for me?" the girl frowned. "Well, we'll be having some guests today. They come for a Christmas visit." Hayden smiles. "Tell me who is it?" Y/n says excitedly. "Your friends. Harry, Ron and even Hermione. I also did invited others too." Hayden says. The girl squealed in excitement.

"Oh, I'm also surprised because this morning, there's so many owls coming with presents. Are you sure, you're having those three only as your friend?" Hayden exclaims. "I don't really know father. Maybe, they're my secret admire." Y/n joked. "Way to go young lady. But, I'm warning you to not go flirting on random boys." Hayden chuckles.

"Totally not, dear father." Y/n shook her head. "Good. I think you should open up your present." Hayden says as his daughter started to grab few presents under the Christmas tree. She started to unwrapped the gifts from her friends, Harry, Ron and Hermione.

Although, she and Harry didn't have a very good relationship this year, the boy managed to give her some inks and feather quill dip pen with her name written on it and it's specialize for every subjects she takes. So, one subject, one quill which she really happy with the present he gave.

Next up, Ron gave her lots of chocolates and sweets. And it's in lots of flavor. He really did give her some snacks for her to sneak in the Potion classroom by eating it quietly. Potions can be boring sometimes if they learnt it theoretically. So, she would eat sweets quietly when Professor Snape is teaching to avoided herself from sleeping in the class.

Then, Hermione gave her a big book with muggle fairy tale collection in it. She always wanted to bought one. She would definitely read that book for few times because she enjoyed reading muggle fairy tale stories. It's enchanting and fantastic although she learns magic.

After she opened her presents, she founded a small green box which is without tagging or any small gift and she didn't know who's the sender. The small box seems mysterious until she opened it. Inside it, there was a necklace with crescent pendant. It's so beautiful which she mesmerized by it beauty. The pendant is completely her favorite.

She looks at the box and there is no clue about the sender which made her frustrated. Who could be the sender and she's so curious about him/her. "That person gave you a very beautiful necklace." Hayden says as he saw his daughter is admiring the necklace.

"I know right? It's so beautiful. I wanted to thanks them but the sender didn't write their name on it." Y/n pouted. "That might be your secret admire." Hayden teased. "My secret admire is definitely rich." Y/n decided to play around.

Hayden rolled his eyes playfully. "I think you should clean up the mess, young lady Guess will be come sooner and get ready." Hayden says as Y/n nods her head curtly and started to collect all those wrappers and throws them away but she still wondering who is that mysterious person that gave her the necklace. Sooner or later, she would definitely find that person.
