CHAPTER 14

Draco is back at the Malfoy's Manor. As always, life is boring at his luxurious huge manor. Ever since the Dark Lord is back, his parents are rarely staying at their manor. They often go out somewhere unknown. Maybe, going for some death eaters meeting.

A few hours ago, Draco back on his own to the manor because his mother fetch him at the train station like always which he disappointed the most with such news.

As he lays himself on his dark green colored king sized bed, he stared at the ceiling emptily. Don't know what to do and life is way too quiet at home. Back in Hogwarts, he may goes disturbing some students right now or doing some studies at the library. Until a simple scene flashed in his mind.

Flashback,

The train from Hogwarts as it arrived at their destination, Platform 9 ¾. Draco lazily lifting himself up from his seat. As always, he would wear his fancy black suit whenever he went back home. His friends already biding their good bye to him which left him alone in the compartment.

His excitement of going home faded away since he knew his mother wouldn't be there to brought him back home. Besides, he's only wanted to go back home just to meet her mother which he missed the most.

As he walked out of the train, he saw a familiar y/h/c haired girl is passing by and running towards a tall man that has the same eye color and hair color as her. Draco is definitely sure that was her father. She seems to be so happy meeting her father.

A moment later, the blonde was passed by a boy who is no other than Jeremy Pevensie who seems to goes to the girl's direction. Draco decided to watched the scene in distance, not sure what's their conversations. There's nothing to rush in since he's going back on his own.

Next up, he saw Jeremy was giving the girl a red wrapped box with white ribbon which made him scoffed. Draco can see the girl is smiling happily as he gave the gift. A sudden unfamiliar feeling filled himself as decided to leave, not wanting to watch any longer. Then, he walks away and proceeding to goes back home.

End of Flashback

"That gift must be cheap. I can afford more than that. Why is she so happy about it?" he muttered to himself. "Is she and the Ravenclaw boy did have a relationship?" he sat himself up on his bed, getting his thought and started overthinking. "Why am I doing this? She's just the annoying Y/n Laurel. Why would I care?" he scoffed.

In the moment, he heard a knock on his door as he immediately swept away his thought of her. "Come in." he says. He sees that his mother is there, turning the doorknob to opened the door. "So, you're back this early." Narcissa smiles at her son. Draco simply nodded his head. "Do go to the dining room. Dinner is ready." Narcissa instructed. "Yes, sure." Draco nods.

As he entered the dining room, he saw that his parents are there. This would not be good. His father's face expressions did look so. He takes his seat in front of his parents and decided to look on the served food only. It was a complete silent in that family dinner. It'll will always be in that way.

After a moment of silent, Draco could hear the metal spoon sound been dropped on the plate. He looks up and sees his father looks firmly at him. "I heard Hayden Laurel has sent her daughter back to Hogwarts again. Am I right?" Lucius asked the boy. "Yes, she did come back." Draco replied simply.

"Have you ever talked to her?" Lucius asked. "A few." The blonde says. "Whom did she befriend with?" Narcissa asked. "Potter, Weasley and Granger." Draco says. "As expected. She'll definitely not going to join his mother and followed her dumb father." Lucius sneered. "What do you mean?" Draco furrowed his eyebrows.

"None of your matters. Now, I want you to bring the girl to our side." Lucius says firmly. "What?! No, I don't want to. I'm not going to do that." Draco refused immediately. "What do you mean by 'no'?" Lucius sneered. 

"She's not going to be one of you. I won't let her." Draco raised up from his chair and walks away.

"Stop right there, Draco!" Lucius shouts as the boy stopped. "When I say it's a no, that is it especially on her matter." Draco replied boldly and leave the dining room. Narcissa sighed at her son attitude towards his father. Lucius snorted and walks out of the room.
