"Luna! Up! Up! Time for breakfast!" One of the sisters shouts. I roll over, yawning. Whoever's at the door must notice how I don't want to get out of bed, and tries a different tactic. "Luna, Aang's coming soon!" She says in a bright voice, causing me to leap out of bed, run to the door, and turn around, rather frustrated when I realize I'm still in my nightclothes. "I'll just be a second!" I cry, while hurriedly pulling on everyday clothes.
(You chose which one, I know they're meant to be Jinora and Ikki, but never mind. Also, all rights go to the artist of these impressive pictures).
I scoff down my breakfast, eager to see my best friend, who rarely comes to the eastern air temple. Running outside, I see the flying bison I've come to recognise. I whistle for my dragon, Lakko. He lands in front of me, his pearlescent white scales glimmering in the early morning sunlight. I leap on, and we take off towards our friends.
After a while, we pull up alongside the flying bison."AANG!" I shriek, my joy is so overwhelming I don't notice anything but the boy and the bison. "Luna!!" He cries back. I laugh, leaping off Lakko, and onto the flying bison. "Hey Appa, how's it going?!" I grin, petting his soft fur. I ran up to Aang, hugging him from behind. "How's it been since your last visit?" I ask him, he shrugs, nodding discreetly behind him. I turn my head slightly, seeing one of the monks meditating behind us. I raise my eyebrows and tilt my head slightly, wondering why the monk is with us, Aang normally comes alone. "He insisted," Aang whispers, chuckling slightly. This puzzles me, why? Why would he insist? Unless... there's something he wants to tell the sisters. I shrug it off, this is my chance to spend time with my only true friend, and whatever the monk wants to say isn't going to ruin it. Spinning my staff, I leap off Appa, pulling open my glider and soaring past. "Race you!" I shout, gliding towards the top of the temple.
