Lakshya - the kidnapper (ongoing)

Chapter eight

Recap: Ragini has a hard time in the village, Laksh is admiring her from far and Heer is the calm point of both.

Ragini was in the lake, she hated it, by now I would be married with Kunal and we would be seeing the world, at least I would be at a beach and enjoying my married life. I hate this man!

Heer was looking for Laksh, but he was gone, "Daadi when will he return?"

The old lady shook her head, "he left with the kids and hasn't given us a time."

Heer frowned, what is he planning? Whenever he leaves the village he comes with a hostage or creates chaos. What is wrong with him?

Ragini was pitying on herself, how could I end up here? What he said I don't really remember, but he kidnapped me for money, now he wants me. Yucks! She hits with her palms on the water, what the hell!

Heer didn't went there, she waited meters away from the lake, she is beautiful and bold, exactly what he likes, but he can't force someone to like or even love him. She hates him for a good reason, I wonder what her family is doing right now?

"Kunal what did the police said, has they found her?" Shekhar was tensed, she is his only daughter and his most valuable family member. He has treated her like a Princess, fulfilled all her wishes, I wonder in which circumstances she is? Is she alive?

Kunal placed his hand on Shekhar's shoulder, "uncle please, you have to stay strong for aunty. I'm in talks with the police, but they haven't found any clue. Also she was kidnapped from home, they have a doubt that she might have runaway."

Janki shook her head, "Kunal what are you saying?"

Kunal denied it, "I'm not saying it, the police is assuming it. We aren't allow to pay the amount, but the worst is, that we haven't got any further instructions. We don't know where she is and what had happened to her. I'm as worried as you both are, Ragini is my love." His words were giving them a chance to hope, but they were still scared for the their girl.

"But Kunal we have to find her, if the police isn't helping us we might take the help of others? I will start an advertising campaign of her missing." He couldn't do much, but this was the least, "I don't know, maybe the kidnapper got to know about my huge loss, what will he do to her?"

"Please don't think like that, I already told you I will pay for it. Just wait and let's hope she is fine." Kunal was checking his phone, he called the lead Inspector for the kidnap case.

"Good evening Inspector have you heard anything, hello?" There was the sound of a disconnected call.

"What happened?" Janki asked him with a fear in her voice.

Kunal shook his head, "nothing to worry. I will try again, maybe he was in a dead spot. I'm trying."

But there was no need, as the doorbell ringed.

Janki rushed to the door, "Ragini?!" But there wasn't Ragini only the inspector.

"I'm sorry, but we can't find her right now. We have been looking for her everywhere, we are currently thinking that the kidnapper has abducted her into another city or maybe it was a trick for human trafficking. If this is the matter than I'm extremely sorry, but to find her will be now more difficult than we thought before."

Janki widen her eyes, "no! My daughter isn't gone neither is she dead. You have to find her, don't stop searching for her. She is there..." she falls unconscious due to stress.

The police inspector shook his head, "we tried our best, but we can't find her. We have informed the airports and train stations as well as the local police stations of the close cities, but it seems like the kidnapper had planned it very well. I don't do that, but I would like to suggest you to hire someone to find her. And I don't meant a private detective."

Kunal shook his head in disbelief, "what do you mean, do you want to tell me that you aren't looking for her any further? That I should contact Mercenary to find her?"

The inspector left with a slight nod, "that's the only way to find her now."

Shekhar couldn't hold himself anymore, "what they won't help us in finding her?"

Kunal took care of both, "uncle Aunty don't worry I will hire someone or a group of mercenaries to find her anyhow."

Both her parents were crying for her safety, and there was him.

"Where the hell is he?!!!!!"

Heer was trying to calm Ragini, "please listen he is coming I'm sure, he will be here any time."

"Anytime? Are you mad, don't you have a brain to use! It's time to breakout from this cage, I want to go home, move!" Ragini pushed Heer away, this time Heer was prepared as she could imagine her impulsive behaviour. Gosh she is just like him, out of control.

Ragini rushed to the gate, "what the hell!" She tried to open the fort, the door was locked, "where is the Key?"

They all shook their heads, no one of them had the keys of the fort or any door of this village.

"You want to tell me, that this mad killer has your children and the keys, and you aren't scared that he might sell, kill or rape them?!"

"Ragini!"
