After 63 years of running, Ezra finally came out of hiding. He now felt that he was ready to take on Zalgo once again and attempt to take him down for good this time. He had forged 2 new blades out of his own hidden power enhanced chakra to try and help him stand a chance against Zalgo once more without having to rely on his dark, unsealed powers. These two swords were called, "Dark Repulser" and "Elucidator", his new dual blades [Sometime in the 20 year time period, Ezra had actually got caught up in the SAO disaster at the time and helped to take care of that. This was also the first time that Ezra was given the nickname "Destroid" for how well he was able to destroy high leveled monsters with ease (His username that was chosen for him by the SAO game itself was also "Destroid")].
(The black sword is Elucidator and the other one his Dark Repulser for anyone who doesn't know about SAO)
Beside forming these new blades, Ezra also now increased his reaction speed to any attacks near or at the speed of light, increased his stamina a small bit, and made himself immune to soul extraction and/or manipulation (Since pulling out people's souls and manipulating them is sort of Zalgo's thing. This is also not including the monstrous boost that Ezra can obtain from his unsealed power). After all was said and done for training himself, he used the machine to travel to Zalgo's dimension to finish off what was started.
It didn't take long for Ezra to find Zalgo and they both entered in a battle against each other once again. This battle lasted for a couple of days and took place across multiple universes. Ezra was now able to keep up with Zalgo's attacks and speed with minor difficulty. The battle eventually ended up taking place in the Pokémon Universe over the Kalos region with a battle in the sky (It was overcast and was about to rain. It's not an important detail, but just using this to give scenery). Eventually, Ezra ended up being "victorious" and was able fend off Zalgo without the aid of his unsealed power. However, that in that fight, Zalgo was actually slowly draining Ezra's powers over the course of the fight. Which resulted in him actually losing pretty much all of his powers for quite a long time after the fight had finished (Essentially, making him now low-superhuman at best).
Ezra soon fainted from exhaustion and fell out of the sky (It was a few mile high fall to be accurate), to which he landed in a thick forest below. This resulted in him getting a few bruises, cuts, a dislocated shoulder, and not being able to use his legs to run for a little while. He woke up hours later confused on where he was, but he decided that he should just heal himself first. After he got finished decently patching himself up, he got up to set off and figure out where he ended up now. Then, he saw a massive beam was being blasted across the forest and was coming towards him at blistering speeds. Ezra quickly got up and and attempted to start running but the best could manage to do was a fast limp. He realized that he had no chance to being able to outrun the beam and quickly began to try and figure out a way out of his situation. He saw a massive (in both width and length) and very deep trench that was quickly approaching in front of him and decided that it was his best bet at that point. He fast limped over to it and jumped over the edge just as the beam was about to reach him. Right after he jumped, he turned around and stabbed both Elucidator and Dark Repulser into the wall of the trench, effectively stopping his descent.
