Sansa laid there thinking. She was a rational person. She was a healer. She felt the pain in her back from the fall but calculated that nothing was broken and there were no major injuries.
A miracle after she counted the seconds she had been weightless.
It didn't make sense.
Sansa laid there in total darkness, her eyes closed, knowing it would make no difference if they were opened.
She thought of her travels. Of the words from legends and Nova. Of Epione. Of Tryton. All of them. What they had said. She had thought of them as bits and pieces of stories, but now, she gathered them in her mind to create a whole. A collective idea.
Nova spoke of her male. Of the marks on his skin. The same marks as night- as the male she had seen just moments ago. He was not a creature of this world, Nova had whispered.
And Epione. Epione. There is a legend of another world...a dark void...of death having keepers...
Sansa still did not know the whole story. She still did not have pieces. Her mind though was convinced of one thing.
Night was here.
Somewhere, somehow, Night was here.
And she would find him.

Sansa heard footsteps. Fear spiked in her. She was not a warrior. She had no way to defend herself. She braced herself for whatever was coming.
Slowly she rose, turning to face the approaching sound. In the distance she saw a light. The light encompassed and filled the space around, shutting out the dark. Sansa's eyes narrowed at the sudden exposure, her hand rising automatically.
She saw through the shadows the figure of a woman.
"Stumbled in have we?"
The voice sent a cold chill through Sansa. There was something sinister in the words. Something evil that made Sansa cautiously stand up to face the female properly.
She had stopped a distance away.
Beautiful would be the word most would use to describe her. Sansa felt her mind empty for a second at the surprise that came with the contrasting image to the voice she had heard.
Soft, honey colored hair billowed down to the female's waist. Large eyes that matched her hair stared curiously down at her. But there was something....missing. Something that made Sansa take a step back. She couldn't understand the appearance of the female. Something was wrong.
"I'm told you followed one of my males in here?" The female shook her head, a condescending tone taking over her features. "You chased after him?"
"I..." Sansa felt herself taking another step back. She had never feared a female before. Had never had a reason to, but alarms were ringing in her. Dangerous. Something about this female was dangerous.
"I'm looking for my mate."
There was a flicker of shock followed by anger on the female's face. And then the brief display of emotion was shut down with a thin cold smile.
"I see. But he's not here."
"He...he looked like the male...the one I was following..."
"Oh? And how did he look like him?"
Sansa stayed silent. She didn't know why, but she felt scared of what her answer could do. What affect her words would have.
"Mmmhhh..." the female placed a finger on her chin a thoughtful expression taking place.
