*Tenshi pov*
I woke up with strange green things around me. What is this place? Where am I? I looked up and saw something bright in the sky. I don't know why, but I felt... stronger as well as warmer. I looked at my hand and had this feeling to let this hot feeling in me out. I then saw a miniature version of the bright thing in the sky. Everything around me started to feel dry and some of it caught... Fire? I instinctively sent the thing in my hand up where it disappeared. I then looked and saw a path of some kind. I walked over until I bumped into something. I fell down and felt the ground being a little rougher then the green stuff.
*Tatsumi pov*
I was walking to the capitol with my award from the danger beast I killed. I was almost there until I ran into someone. I looked down and saw...
A little boy. He couldn't be older than 6. What caught me off guard were the wings on his back. I thought they were fake until I saw them flap a little. I realized that I was staring at him when I was the one who made him fall. He then looked at me and I saw his blue eyes staring into me. He looked so innocent, but... he looked lost.
Tatsumi: Oh my god. Are you ok kid?
Kid: I... I think I'm ok. Who are you?
Tatsumi: I'm Tatsumi. What's your name? Are you lost?
kid: I... don't have a name... I don't even know if I have anywhere to go...
He looked so sad. I felt a little bad for him. The kid looks like he's been abandoned.
Tatsumi: I'm... sorry to hear that. How about I help give you a name?
He smiled a little and nodded. I gave it some thought. I looked him over to see if anything comes to mind. My eyes always fell to his wings. Now that I think about it, he's like an angel. Maybe he should be named after an angel.
Tatsumi: How about... Tenshi? It means angel in my people's language.
Tenshi: I... I LOVE IT!!!
He looks so happy to have a name. He then tackled me into a hug.
Tenshi: Thank you mister Tatsumi!
I smiled at this. It looked like I made his day with our encounter.
Tatsumi: You're welcome Tenshi.
Tenshi: Can I ask you something?
Tatsumi: Sure.
Tenshi: Can I... stay with you?
I was a little taken aback by this, but I couldn't just say no to him. He's alone and has no one to protect him. It may sound cliché, but I need to look after him until I can find him a suitable home. What kind of man would I be if I left a child abandoned and alone? That would be just wrong.
