The streets next to us suddenly become inaccessible due to the number of people. Gun fire roars over the running.
The crowd eventually passes.
"Give me a gun," Athena says. I hand her one. "You go get your friend Aaron..... s**** about to go down."
She runs off into the fight. I put my gun in my pocket and run. Aaron is knocked over on the ground. Blood pours out of his leg.
"Aaron!" He sees me. There's pain in his eyes. "It's okay Aaron we're gonna get you out of here."
"I can't walk....," he says in an almost whisper.
"Then I'll carry you."
A bullet flies bye me. I look back to see one guard shooting me. A knife is loved in his side. Nothing will stop them from achieving they're goal.
He starts to reload. I grab Aaron and pull him over my shoulder. He screams.
"Shut up! I'm taking you to Apollo."
Several bullets fly into my left side. Aaron drops onto the ground as do I.
Mine and Aaron's screams echo through the slums.
Never in my life have I felt so much pain. I look over at Aaron. He holds his leg.
The guard with the knife in his side trudges over but before he can reach us he falls to the ground. He lost to much blood.
Someone must have heard our cries. Around the corner a woman and two men come. One man takes Aaron. The man and woman take me.
"Our medic is on the other side of the fight," the woman says.
They run. Bullets fly past, under, and around us. Fighting is all that can be heard. Suddenly the woman stops and falls to her knees. The man keeps running. I look back. She's bleeding from the entire right side of her body.
The medical camp in straight up ahead. We've almost reached it when both men receive bullets to the head.
Once again me and Aaron are on the floor. I look up to find the shooter.
The head guard. He has his gun aimed at Aaron.
Then I see her. Athena. She sneaks up behind the guard. When she right behind his she stands up and points the gun at his head.
The trigger is pulled.
Still the guard stands. No blood. Nothing. She tries again. Then her eyes meet mine. Sudden realization strikes me.
I gave her my gun. The gun with no ammo.
The head guard turns around. He must have her the clicking from the gun. He aims at Athena now.
My vision starts to get blurry. I take out Athena's pistol.
The gun sways in my hands. I try my best to keep him in my sights.
Then as I pass out I pull the trigger. A long silence follows.
