Giselle Durand was finally properly enjoying her time at Hogwarts. She wasn't stressing over her explanation of everything to Fred and her workload increased any other thoughts about the second, missing half of her family were soon pushed out of her mind.

However, the best part about no longer avoiding Fred was that Giselle didn't have to sit down one end of the Gryffindor table eating by herself and avoiding eye contact instead she was about to sit with people that actually started a conversation with her.  Throughout her first few days at Hogwarts, there was always that special aura of being the 'new girl', the transfer student so she had had several people come up to start conversations with her about Beauxbatons or France but they never lasted long, running off to join their own friends. It was always the biggest challenge of being new in a different environment but it seemed that Giselle would almost not have to worry about that all now.

After their afternoon of skipping classes, Giselle had quickly found herself absolutely ravenous and was more than ready for dinner. However, of course, there was no way on earth that Fred having just got Giselle back was going to let her eat by herself at the opposite end of the table.

"Come on! You are sitting with us. Besides George wants to meet you anyway." Fred had informed Giselle, tugging her in the direction of his usual seat, his grin widening once Giselle laughed, the corners of her own mouth twitching into a contagious smile.

Although Giselle had pretty much had no choice not to join Fred, she suddenly found herself nervous to be meeting everyone else for a reason she couldn't quite put a finger on. But regardless she was still being pulled forward, the meeting inevitable.

George Weasley had seen the two of them coming, a relived smile crossing his own face as he saw just how much Fred had changed. His twin hadn't been himself for weeks now but with him now reunited with Giselle, that familiar mischievous twinkle in his eye was back.

"You must be Giselle," George said the second the two of them reached the table.

"Yeah, that would be me," Giselle replied with a soft smile as she took her seat.

"You're the new girl." Lee Jordan observed with a mouth full of food that was flicking across the table with each syllable. "The transfer from Beauxbatons."

"Yeah I am-" Giselle began.

"And Freddie's new summer friend." George interrupted with an apologetic smile in Giselle's direction, he hadn't meant to interrupt her.

"Haha, yeah, I guess that as well," Giselle muttered with a slight red hue crossing her cheeks, her hands fiddling with the ends of her hair once more, however, Fred's glare into George and Lee's direction soon vanquished any remaining awkwardness.

"But this is George, but I am obviously the most handsome twin and this is Lee Jordan." Fred clarified.

"Well, it's really nice to meet you both," Giselle replied with a grin. "But I do apologise in advance I've met a lot of people over the last few days, so if I get your name wrong, correct me otherwise you might end up with a completely different name for the rest of our time together. Or I might just do that on purpose, you two look like you could rock completely different names."

"Oh, I like her," Lee said. "She's funny."

"I know," Fred replied proudly, slinging an arm around her shoulders.

"Who is this? Fred, did you already move past Angelina and find yourself another girl?" An another voice belonging to yet another redhead sounded from above.

"And this Giselle is my git of a brother, Ron and this is Hermione Granger and Harry Potter," Fred replied with an eye roll. "As for you lot, this is Giselle Durand, but you probably already know that."

"Yeah, we may have heard a thing or two." The girl introduced as Hermione said, holding her hand out for Giselle to shake. "But it's really nice to properly meet you, Giselle."

"It's lovely to meet you all as well," Giselle replied, her eyes flicking between the trio that had also joined them.

"And as for your question, Ronald. I'm still very much dating Angelina for your information."

"Geez, there's no need to get on the defensive, it was just a question," Ron replied, walking away with Harry and Hermione, still muttering under his breath.

"Well, how many more redheads do I still have to meet?" Giselle asked, elbowing Fred in the ribs.

"Only a few more," Fred replied with a chuckle, unwrapping his arm from around Giselle's as another figure arrived to join the group.

"Angelina Johnson." The newcomer introduced herself in Giselle's direction. "Fred's girlfriend."

"It's lovely to meet you, Angelina. I'm Gise-"

"I already know you who are, Giselle," Angelina replied before turning to Fred completely ignoring the girl.

Giselle raised her eyebrows slightly in a mixture of shock and amusement, sharing a look with George and Lee before turning to her dinner, trying her best to ignore the couple sitting beside her.
