Emily
News flooded around like wild fire about Everett and me being in a relationship. Some people came forward to ask if it was true. The jocks and cheerleaders give me looks like they were judging me whenever I walk passed them.
Morgan and I shared few classes, she came to me with excitement in her eyes and, it's very rare when you see her excited. She always have impassive or bored look on her face.
"Is it true? You and Levi?" she asked.
I chuckled and nodded and her eyes widened.
"We were talking about that yesterday.. what made you change your mind? actually, don't tell me. I just want to say I'm so happy for you." and she hugged me. "I'm very excited for you."
and I laughed and before I could have said something, the teacher told us to settle down for class.
On my way to the staircase, I met some cheerleaders.
"Is it true you are dating Everett?" the tall blond asked me with a curious look while her friends give me those curious looks.
"Yes." I said and waited for them to react.
They simply nodded their head, "You two look cute together." the shorter one with short hair said. "It was obvious he liked you, but we didn't expect you to like him, back. We all are glad and happy for you two."
"Thanks." I said surprised by what they were saying. I didn't expect this from them. I thought they would hate me because they are basically his fans.
"Please do join us for lunch with Everett sometime." The blond said and the others nodded their head and I give them a small nod and a smile, which they returned with ease.
"Em." I heard Morgan calling my name from across the hallway as she made her way towards me. We both walked towards the staircase and discussed about our coming test on Friday.
"Do you want to come over at my place on Thursday to study? I asked her.
"Can I?" she asked.
"Definitely." I said.
"Thank you, Em." she hugged me and I smiled.
Everett was already sitting on the stairs. He stood up and pulled me for a hug and pecked my cheeks.
"Look at you two." Bloom teased as she joined us with Aaliyah and Evan behind her.
I smiled at her as we all gathered around for lunch. Everett bought us some burgers and fries which we were grateful for.
"What's the plan for Thanksgiving?" Evan asked.
"How about we have weekend sleepover at my place and celebrate Thanksgiving together?" Everett suggested.
"Sleepover at your place? for real?" Bloom squealed in excitement. "I'm in. Although, I have Thanksgiving lunch on Monday, but I can do it."
"My Dad is not in town anyway, so I'm in as well." Morgan shrugged.
Evan shrugged. "His place is like my second home."
We all looked at Aaliyah.
"I'm not sure.. I've never had sleepover at someone else's place before. I will let you guys know?" she said.
"Sure." I said to her.
"Do you like the burger?" Everett whispered beside me.
"You do know quite a lots of good restaurants and Café." I said to him.
"When you're bored, you just have to explore some places." he shrugged and smiled. "I'm glad you are eating well." and bumped his head gently with mine.
