45. Day with GOT7

'CHIBA! LET ME HEAR YOU SCREAM!' I say to my audience.

Japan is just amazing, the fans give it their everything to cheer for the artists. What more can I wish for?

The setlist is just the good old 'Ticket' and 'Simple love' but this time, I'm also singing 3 other tracks from the albums. They are called 'Conversations', 'Let me dance' and 'Straight forward'. I love those songs so much but I did not expect the audience to know them because I've never performed them live.

And how wrong was I?

They know every word to the lyrics, even in Korean!

I'm so going to do this again next year! Only if they still want me back.

After the show ended, Freddie oppa tells me about the rest of our schedule in Japan.

'Tomorrow we are heading to Tokyo. The whole morning is reserved for travelling, but you've got a meeting with the Japanese producers about the debut and showcases, that should last for the whole afternoon. Nothing in the evening. Then the next day you're going to film with GOT7. The last day, you'll be having photoshoots with CanCam magazine. Aren't you so excited?' He says.

'Absolutely!' I chuckle, 'the more jobs, the more income.'

He shakes his head and says, 'shallow bitch.'

And we both laugh.

It's finally safe to say that my Japanese debut is coming together slowly. We've scheduled it for February 2021, with showcases/fan meetings in Tokyo and Osaka.

Today is all about working and having fun with the GOT7 sunbaenims!

I meet them at the entrance of Disneyland. There are a bunch of staff surrounding them but even more fans are standing on the sides with their phones, hoping to capture their bias of their favourite group.

Jinyoung oppa first spots me and asks the security to let me in.

'Oh, Shannon-ah, where's your team?' He asks me.

'I gave them a day off,' I smile. 'Except my manager oppa just wouldn't leave my side.'

Jinyoung oppa shakes hands and bows at Freddie oppa who says, 'as soon as I leave her by herself for a second, she gets into trouble. Plus, she doesn't know how to touch up her makeup by herself, so someone has to be here.'

Jinyoung oppa chuckles, 'oh I see. Thank you so much for coming today, hyung.'

Wow, he is so polite!

'Oppa, what you said was so embarrassing!' I whisper to my manager when Jinyoung oppa turns back to his team.

He giggles, 'there's no point in lying.'

'Shannon-ah, you're here!' Bambam oppa and Yugyeom oppa both come and greet us.

'We're going to film an introduction right in front of the entrance, so we'll be heading in for the rides very soon!' Yugyeom oppa says.

'I can't wait!'

I love the outfit Freddie oppa prepared for me. I told him I'd just wear my own clothes but he insisted that I wear something more boujee...

My whole outfit is from the brand Alexander Wang. The white cropped shirt is attached to a white tank inside so it's both stylish and comfy. The high-waisted shorts are lined with a patterned fabric so they are not just normal denim shorts. Freddie oppa even got me a new pair of combat boots, these are also black but the leather has got a nice pattern embroidered on it, giving them a girlier outlook.
