46. you made it!

'Annyeonghaseyo!' I am at RBW, Solar unnie's management company.

' You're here! Shannon!' She gives me a hug. 'Can you say hi to the viewers on my YouTube channel, Solarsido?'

I wave at the camera and says, 'annyeonghaseyo , thanks for having me at Solarsido.'

'Yup, so today we're having our first rehearsal for our performance at the 2021 MAMA. It's a secret, no one knows Shannon will be joining me onstage.'

'So this video will come out after MAMA?' I ask.

'Yes, that's right. Don't worry about our performance being leaked!' She smiles brightly. 'I also heard Shannon you can never decline any requests when you're on camera. Will you do a collaboration with me?'

She must be talking about Jungkook and Yoongi oppas' challenges. Wow, I didn't know they are that popular that even Yongsun unnie has heard of it.

'Unnie, you don't need to threaten me to collaborate with you,' I smile. 'I'd be most honored to collaborate with you.'

'OK! Guys, you're in for a treat!' She chuckles.

We are now in one of their dance practice rooms. It's very much like ours, with loads of mirrors and wooden floorings. I only have to come in at the second verse so I get to chill for a bit. Yongsun unnie's 'Spit it out" is powerful, intense, and feminine, I don't even know if I can pull it off.

After 5 hours of practicing, we are finally happy with the progress of the rehearsal so we call it a day.

Since it's only 4 pm, I come back to BigHit to get some work done. I know I seem to be always producing and composing songs, but not all of them make it to albums. Some of them even end up being sold to other artists which is really surprising to me. I can't wait for Camilla, yup the talented Camilla Cabello to release the song that I produced for her!

'Oh my world!' I jump as I see who's in my studio. 'Jimin oppa.'

His legs and arms are crossed and he doesn't look happy.

Well, I might have ghosted his and his teammates' texts for a bit too long.

'Oh, you remember what my name is,' he says.

Jimin oppa and I have always been closed ever since the day we met at the set of the 'Ticket' MV. He accompanied Taehyung oppa who starred in the music video, and we've always kept in contact, even though they are all over the world touring.

'Of course,' I smile awkwardly. 'It's been a while.'

'YES! Do you know how long it's been? 35 days! It's been 35 days since I sent you the text, did you even read it?' Oh dear, he's furious.

'I'm sorry...'

'No, you're not! Because if you were sorry you would've texted back! Do you know how worried I have been this whole time?'

He's worried about me? Not angry?

I walk over to the couch where he's seated. I lean on his shoulder and loop an arm around his, 'oppa...I'm really sorry. I didn't know you'd still want to talk to me after...'

Fortunately, he didn't push me away. Instead, he puts his arm around my shoulders and gives me a few brotherly strokes. He's finally lowered his voice, back to his gentle, sweet, soothing tone. 'No matter what happened between you and Jungkook, I'd still want to be your friend. And so do Taehyung, Suga hyung, Namjoon hyung, Jin hyung, Hoseok hyung and even Jungkook.'

The sound of his name makes my heart skip a beat, and I hate it that Jungkook oppa still has this effect on me. I can't help it but ask, 'how has he been?'
