date night

Today I was going on a date with my highschool friend Kevin I didn't know if I was ready to go on this date with him but I called him and said that I would go and he got  excited. of course and I had to get ready and look my best so I put on my sparkly blue dress and black heels and tried doing my hair of course I did the best I can and I guess it turned out great I didn't wear flat shoes so I wouldn't stand out but when he got to my house I was amazed he literally looks like one of those hosts from reality shows that will give roses to those women. I said wow you look handsome and he said well you look more beautiful I think we should go on a date now and I said okay and we got in his car we drove. a few minutes and it would take five more minutes to get to our destination. so we chatted and got there on time the inside was very beautiful and very fancy I didn't know what to do at a fancy restaurant so I tried to be more civilized and be more polite and we kind of have a blast. we talked about stuff people would do on dates and what I told him what his job was he told me that he was going to be an author writing his own book about horror and crime scene photos I told him that well I guess I could read that so I can get really scared so I cant sleep. we both laughed of course and he told me what my job was I told him that I was working as a bartender for a restaurant I get paid fairly but I managed. so we talk about stuff we did in high school and about stuff we do now and about our kids he told me that he has a daughter about 7 years old I think and I told him about my kid Jacob who is about 6 years old so we thought about arranging a playdate and then look who decided to show up to the restaurant take a wild guess. okay now it was Charles and  his wife Clarissa I honestly don't know why we keep running into each other like this but I guess it's just going to be fate until we do so we locked eyes and we both said hi and I introduce my friend Kevin to Charles and his wife so apparently that night turned into a double date I know awkward but it wasn't going to be awkward this time I try to make conversation to make sure that none of us would have to stay quiet and a few hours go by and me and Kevin decide to leave and Charles wanted to talk to me about Jacob and about the custody but I completely ignore him so I wouldn't have to listen to him ramble on about Jacob. so me and Kevin left and we have nothing to talk about what day do I think I should go back to sleep that's what I told Kevin he said can I  talk to you about your husband Charles.
