Plot: Tokitou twins find a strange little girl, who was abandoned, in the middle of the woods and meet her again after they joined the demon slayer corps.

They remembered the red of the moon when they saw the figure of the petite girl in the woods.

They were searching around the mountains to collect firewood in the night.

Realisation and horror dawned on the eleven-year-old Muichirou as he prowled through the woods with nothing but an axe in hand. The creepy gnarled branches clawed at the dark skies and the howling of the chilly winds were enough to have them huddle against each other.

"Come on!" Yuichirou scolded as he shirked him off. "Don't be such a crybaby! It's just an owl. What are you going to do when I'm not around?"

"B-But... isn't it too late in the night?" He sobbed.

Rustle, rustle.

The bush by their side kicked a dried twig out. It was moments too late to remember legends about demons who lurk in the night. Yuichirou stepped back and instinctively reached a hand out to shield his little brother while Muichirou grabbed onto his shoulders.

A head popped out, to which they ripped a scream through the forest. Muichirou who had Yuichirou by the shoulders, picked him up, jumped into the air and fell back.

She was eight, they assumed, holding a red lantern with a plain kimono and an oversized hachi-maki around her head. The girl wrestled against the bushes and yanked out a bag too huge for her size. She scrambled to her feet—which was horribly battered—and nodded hastily as a greeting.

"Excuse me, sirs with black and green hair!" She announced to the two petrified boys. "Please tell me where I am!"

"What?" Muichirou asked.

"I don't know where I am... and do you live nearby?"

"Who are you?"

"My name is (Y/n)! I don't know what's my last name though... but the person taking care of me was called Urokodaki. So I'm Urokodaki (Y/n)!" She replied cheerfully and heaved the bag over her shoulders.

Yuichirou snapped out of his trance. He grabbed a nearby branch and pointed it at her. "What are you doing out here? You're not a demon, are you?"

"No way! I'm just travelling around," she gasped in an offended way. "You two are loitering around this woods! You are also suspicious!"

"Why you—"

Muichirou wriggled out from under his brother and dusted himself. "Why are you travelling?"
