"I don't remember him telling me that you're coming over," She said while eyeing me. "Is something wrong?"

"Ah, Dra, kasi.." Napakamot ako sa ulo ko.

She raised her eyebrows, she was losing her patience this time.

"I asked her to sleep in my room," Parehas kaming napaligon kay Doc Arceo na kakarating lang.

He walked from Dra Romano's back to my side.

Doctora Romano looked at us with so much confusion.

"Her roommate snors and she can't sleep so I offered my room since I won't be sleeping here tonight," He explained.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Doctora Romano asked, obviously irritated.

"Do I have to?" He scoffed.

Humarap ito sa'kin at tsaka inabot ang door knob.

He was about to open the door when Doctora Romano spoke again.

"She can sleep in my room," She suggested.

"I already offered my room," He said without looking at her.

I can feel the tension as if they were in a lovers quarrel.

"Here," Doctora Romano offered him the coffee in her left hand.

He took it and nodded. "Thanks."

"Sorry, I didn't know you were coming, I only bought for me and him," She apologized.

"It's okay, Dra," I smiled at her.

She smiled before taking a sip of her coffee.

"Actually," Doc Arceo faced me and we looked back at him. "You can have this."

Inabot sa'kin ni Doc Arceo 'yung cup of coffee na kakabigay lang sa kaniya.

"What? Don't be silly, I'm pretty sure Alvira wants to sleep na," Doctora Romano opposed.

"Oo nga, Doc, tsaka tipsy ka 'di ba?" I asked.

He nodded and took back the cup.

"Come on," Akit sa'kin ni Doc Arceo at hinigit pa ako papasok ng room niya.

"Wow," Bulong ko.

"Surprised?" Tanong niya habang inaayos ang mga gamit niya sa cabinet.

"Medyo," I answered. I mean, I thought he would get a luxurious room pero turns out simple lang ang gusto niya.

"I'll just grab a few clothes then pwede ka na matulog," Sabi niya.

I nodded and smiled.

Nilibot ko muna ang kwarto niya habang hindi pa siya naalis.

Ang linis naman masyado. Para ngang first time niya lang pumasok rito, eh.

"I'm heading out now," Paalam ni Archie kaya agad akong lumabas ng restroom para puntahan siya.

He was leaning on the wall near the door while massaging his head, I bet he's having a headache.

"O-okay," I said and awkwardly smiled. "Are you okay, Doc?"

He looked at me then nodded. I nodded back and he smiled at me.

He stepped out and I was closing the door already but then he pushed it.

"Huh?" Naguguluhan kong tanong.
