(Y/n) POV
Unlike everyone else in school, the four of us starred at the front gate with blank expressions as people screamed in terror around the campus. Now I know it might be weird that we weren't standing in front of the front gate instead of trying to make it back to our dorms, but there is a reason for that. Before this stupid event even started, the four of us made a run for it and tried to leave through the gate only to find that for the first time since I had been here, it was locked. And not only that, but there was a bird cage over the school so no one could leave. I'm not joking. A literal bird cage. I'm not sure who made this but I know that it was Doflamingo. He's probably sitting comfortably in his office enjoying the show with his usual smirk. This is my actual nightmare. I can't escape even if I wanted to. The only safe haven is the dorms. I wish I knew about this cage sooner. I never would have ran because jr only made everything worse. Maybe if we went in the beginning there would have been so much more people inside so it wouldn't be as scary but now plenty of people have made it back to the dorms. There less people running and plenty of people scaring. And that means more to scare us.
"So..." Usopp began. "It's come to this?"
"I guess so." I answered.
"We have no choice." Nami said.
"We have to go into...."
"The haunted house!!!!" All of us cried together not wanting to go to the haunted house. This isn't just some normal haunted house though. It's filled with familiars and magic not to mention the fact that this campus is huge. We have to go all the across school from where we are just to make it.
"Well we have no choice. We have to make it back to our dorms and win that 50,000 beli prize!" Nami declared with beli signs in here eyes.
"I'm going to focus on surviving." I said.
"Me too." Usopp agreed and Chopper nodded his head. And just like that, the four cowards were walking along the bath to reach the main building.
"It's so damn foggy I can't barely see a thing." Usopp complained.
"Yeah and what's that cracking sound?" Chopper asked.
"It sounds like its coming from...." I trialed off as my eyes looked down on the ground to see bones.
"Bones!!!!!!!" Usopp and Chopper yelled punching their hands in the air and shaking with fear.
"It's just bones!!" Nami yelled.
"Is that real!?!?" Chopper asked.
"It is real!! Oh no, this was all a lie! That sick bastard of a principal is probably planning on killing us!!! This is too real!!"
"You're imagination is running wild!" Nami yelled.
"Bones really aren't that bad." I said.
"Then why are you squatting over there?" Usopp asked.
"I'm not scared of bones. I miss Mizuka. I don't have the energy to move on." I sulked drawing circles on the floor and oozing depression.
"So this is what happens when you two are separated?" Usopp asked.
"It's weird. Really weird." Nami said. "No two people should be that attached."
"Mizuka... Mizuka...."
"She's actually making me sadder." Chopper said.
"Stop that!!!" Usopp yelled hitting my back. "We don't have time to be depressed!!!" Usopp puller his eyes away from me and looked into the fog seeing three glowing pair of yellow lights staring at him.
"Ahh!!! What is that?!" I yelled suddenly full of energy. I jumped onto my feet and hid behind Usopp as the fake figure became more clear through the fog to reveal a...Cerberus? I think. I'm not sure. One of the heads is a fox and this definitely wasn't Shanks' familiar.
"That's no dog." Nami said.
"Then what is it?" Usopp asked.
"Oh no! It can't be...Ce-Ce-Cerberus!?" All three heads started barking at us.
"Well this actually isn't—." Before I knew it, Nami. Usopp, and Chopper were screaming and running for their lives while dragging me along with them.
"Wait! What the heck's a Cerberus!?!?" Nami cried as she ran.
"It's the guardian of the underworld." I answered.
"Oh come on. There's no way that's real!!"
"Did we die?! We must have!?"
"Don't even say that!! We're alive!!" Nami yelled.
"It's coming closer. Come here and play little Cerberus!" I called lovingly.
"Don't call it over here!!! If we stop it'll eat us!!!" Usopp screamed. Once we got to a certain point the Cerberus stopped chasing us but the trio didn't realize that and booked it inside the main building to safety.
"It seems you have made it inside the main building. I congratulate you."
"Nami. Did you say something?" I asked nervously.
"I didn't say a word. Usopp?"
"No. C-Chopper?"
"N-n-n-no..." when the realization hit that none of us had said anything whatsoever, we all slowly turned our heads and there was a batman with stitched hanging down on the wall.
"AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" All four of us ran for our lives crying our eyes out.
"What was that thing!?!" I asked.
"It was a human but it had wings!!!" Usopp answered.
"This is too scary!! This has to be hell!! Did we die?" Chopper asked.
"Is it chasing us?" I was the one who turned my head and there was nothing there so I told them and we all cane to a stop gathering much needed air.
"I don't think I can take this." I said.
"Neither can I! I quit! I want to wake up!!" Nami cried.
"At least there's nothing here for now." Usopp sighed resting his hand against the wall but then started to feel a strangely wet and warm liquids. He looked at his hand and his eyes grew wider and wider by the second from what he saw.
"Blood!!!!" Our eyes trailed up the wall and there it was written in blood: "I'm coming for you"
"Th-That could have been there for a long time." Usopp denied with a nervous laughter.
"You're right." Chopper agreed but of course we had to be proven wrong. Out of nowhere, each and every single one of our names was written down on the wall.
"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" Without any hesitation whatsoever we all made a break from it running to who knows where for who knows how long until we thought we were good.
"Who did that?!" Chopper asked.
"I don't know but you're right Chopper. We must have died." I said.
"We're safe for now at least." Nami said.
"But we don't know how long that's going to last."
"Umm....Usopp....." I called softly.
"As soon as we get out of here we have to go through the open fields."
"Usopp..." Chopper called this time.
"What is it?!" Not a single one of us said anything. The entire time Usopp spoke, that same bat man slowly flew down from ceiling behind him. All we needed to do was point and he slowly figured out that something was behind him.
"It seems you ran away earlier."
"AHHHHHH!!!!!" Nami, Chopper, and I bolted without even thinking about Usopp.
"You jerks!! You left me behind."
"Sorry Usopp!" I apologized.
"I'm not sorry. I have to do what I have to do!!" When we thought we were good we all stopped for a break only for something creepy to show up a second later. And the same thing happened every single time we stopped. Every time anything scary appeared we screamed our heads off and ran the other way.
"That's it!!!" Usopp suddenly shouted coming to a stop.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"We have to keep running or they'll catch us!" Nami added.
"No! No more running!"
"Usopp..." Chopper said his name with sparking excitement as if he expected Usopp to do something brave.
"I have figured out what's going on....we're all asleep. This is all just a Dream. Something this horrible can't be real. It's all a Dream." Usopp exclaimed closing his eyes.
"You're right! That must be it! Good night!" Chopper said before closing his eyes with a smile.
"Ahh, a Dream!" Nami said blissful.
"A Dream." All four is closed our eyes waiting for the nightmare to be over but we're brought back to reality when he heard a strange clanking sound. We peaked an eye open to find a skull bouncing down the steps and stopping at my feet. Now we were all curious.
"A skull?" I questioned picking it up.
"What's that doing here?" Chopper asked. Our eyes trailed up to a hidden figure on the stairs, staring throwing the window with their back to us. All of a sudden it turned around and that's when we saw a skeleton with no skull. All of us blinked a few times looking down at the skull and then when we looked back up, the skeleton was right in front of me. I'm not sure what was going on through my brain but I know I wasn't processing anything. The moving skeleton took the skull from my hand, it's cold, hard fingers, grazing my own, and then put it back in its head.
