Chapter 26

(Y/n) POV

I parked the car and the two of us walked out of it and onto the campus. I ended up leaving him thought to rush straight to class. It was 11:40 so that meant the lunch with only 20 minutes left. I guess that's not to bad. Considering how big our school is, it took me about 10 minutes or so to get to the quad where everyone was. By then I had only 10 minutes of lunch left.
"Hey, (y/n), where were you all this time?" Nami asked.
"You weren't in class or at the dorms." Zoro added.
"The principal sent me out to drag Shanks to school because he was so hungover."
"So you went to a teacher's house and it was Shanks. How was it?" Nami asked with a smirk. Just thinking back to it made me blush. The pulling me into his bed, the compliments, calling me his girl. It was all too much.
"Nothing happened okay."
"You're lying. Look at your face it's all red. You sure are lucky that you got to get to Shanks house. Everyone always says how hot he is."
"Nami please." I begged.
"Would you leave her alone Nami. Not everyone thinks like you." Zoro said. Zoro was barely waking up from a nap, Robin was petting Mizuka, and Luffy was eating away like a maniac whole stealing food from others. It was just the usual.
"Bloom-chan I'm sorry I didn't make you lunch today I didn't know you were coming."
"It's alright Sanji really. I don't need to eat and I don't really have the time."
"No way. As your personal chef I can't allow that." He turned his head stealing some of Luffy's food which earned him some complaint and handed it to me. "This should do. I know it won't be as good as normal because I normally give them the leftovers but it's something."
"Thank you."
"Hey!" Usopp, Chopper, and Franky complained.
"It's still really good though." Luffy said with a smile. He tried to steal my food but that earned him a hit on the head from Sanji. With only 5 minutes of lunch left, I tried to eat as fast as possible and when I was done, I separated away from everyone else. Right now all of the first years had the educational classes while second years had to do physical training. I changed into my gym clothes and met Sabo and Ace at the gym. Right now it was Combat Training with Dragon.
"Hey, where were you?" Sabo asked.
"I had to do something and it kind of made me late. I only got here for the end of lunch."
"Lucky you. I wish I stayed at home or something. We just started and I'm already tired of it." Ace commented which made me laugh.
"Don't say that in front of Sabo. This is his favorite class."
"My bad. I know how much you love Dragon."
"Well he's a good teacher." Sabo blushed from embarrassment.
"You don't have to be so embarrassed." Ace laughed.
"Don't tease him, I think it's nice that Sabo likes Dragon so much." My comment only made him blush more.
"You made it worse."
"Would you guys change the topic."
"Sorry." We both laughed. Just then, Dragon decided to start class so we all shut up and listened to what he had to say. The rest of my classes went the same way and at the end of my short day, I went back to my dorm. Sanji and Zoro went to hangout with Luffy and everyone else was MIA so the only one in our room right now was Ace and I.
"Can you help me with my homework?"
"Let me guess, it's math isn't it?" I knew very well that math was not his strong suit.
"Yeah. I still don't get it and the teacher said I have to learn it now."
"Well come on."  I laid down on the bed and he laid down next to me with his assignment in front of us. Mizuka simply laid on the top of my head comfortably as I tried teaching Ace. Occasionally she would jump off my head and onto the assignment.
"You know, it's pretty cool that you can have Mizuka out whenever you want."
"I know right. She's like my little sister. I couldn't imagine keeping her sealed away for hours like that." She meowed in agreeement and laid herself down next to Ace's arm. "And I'm really happy that she likes all of you so much. I really appreciate you guys for treating her like a person. It means a lot."
"It's no problem really. You don't have to thank us. Plus she's basically a human anyway so it isn't hard."
"I know but in my old school when people found out she was a familiar they treated her different. I just didn't like that."
"You care about her a lot."
"Well it is natural to care about family." Just then I heard the faint sound of a very familiar voice. "Wait a minute did you hear that?"
"Hear what?" Ace asked confused but I knew for a fact I heard something so I shhh him. I heard that familiar happy voice again but a little louder this time.
"Oh no, no, no, no, no!!"
"What's wrong?" Ace asked. She was definitely much closer only a few feet away from the door probably and she was constant cheering my dorm room number. Doflamingo sold me out! That jerk! I can't believe him. "No time! Get under the blanket now!" I jumped off of the bed and Ace did as well very confused. I went under the covers but since Ace didn't seem to be getting it I yanked his arm down. "Get under!" He was confused but went under the blanket with me and I bent my knees underneath so it didn't look like I was hiding someone underneath. I quickly grabbed the assignments at the exact moment the door opened.
