I had just finished everything up for the day and I was heading home. August and I got into a heated argument this morning before I left. I was feeling some type of way about how Rayne's cousin tried to play me as well as disrespect me. I know that at the time we were not together or whatever, but we hadn't really said that we were over either.

I hate he fucked that thotty ass girl cause she gon' cause problems, but she don't want them problems. Then again she act like she want them. Shit been silent since she last texted him, but I know that she somewhere plotting. I had finally got all my shit and my secret lock box with the formula I had made the other day, heading out.

I walked down the halls and told everyone bye. I got outside to my car and placed everything inside. Before I got in I looked around the parking lot because I felt like somebody was watching me. I was so tired of this shit. I knew that Chandler and his crazy ass daddy was out here lurking. That reminds me I need to call my grandmother. I got in the car and locked the doors. I started the car and backed out of the parking lot. I was just about to pick my phone up and call my grandmother when it rung. I looked at the screen and Aug's picture popped up. He was calling me. I sighed because I was still somewhat upset with him.

"Hello."

"Whea' yo ass at my nigga?"

"Um minding my business."

"Desire don't be fuckin' wit me? Whea' you at fa'real?"

"On my way home."

"Well when you get hea' we need ta' talk."

I rolled my eyes as if he could see me.

"I hear ya."

"Yeah but are you listening to a nigga?"

"Bye August."

"Desire don't hang this fuckin' phone up or else that's gon' be yo ass when you get hea."

"Tuh. Whateva." I hung up and I knew all hell was gonna break loose when I walked through the door, but hell it is what it is.

I scrolled my phonebook and pressed my grandmother's number. The phone rung a few minutes and she answered.

"Hey baby."

"Hey grandma. How's Cali?"

"Oh its amazing, but how are you?"

"I'm good. Just stressing a lil."

"No need for all that because everything is gonna be fine, but in the meantime keep your eyes and ears open. Pay attention to your surroundings at all times. Matter fact I need to talk to August about having someone with you when you are out and about."

"Grandma that ain't necessary."

"Hush girl. If I say it is then it is. You better listen to me cause grandma knows chile."

"Grandma are you the CIA or something cause you been on that secret mission type stuff."

"Eh granny just got connects."

"Oookaayyy." I laughed a little.

"Listen babygirl. I know that Aug messed up three months ago, but in spite of that August really loves you. Don't you ever question that. I knew what I was doing when I arranged all of this months ago."

"Say what?"

"Desire think back to the dinner we had and everything will come back to your memory. I know that so much has happened, but think about it and you will know what I mean. I hate to end this but I gotta handle something. I love you sweetie."
