August and I were in the middle of the dance floor lost in each other. We swayed to Monica's love all over me. We stared into each other's eyes and I knew I would always love this man. I looked over my shoulder to see Twan and Nedra all wrapped up in each other. Netra and Tony were lost in each other. It was love all in the air.

My mom and dad were off in the cut acting like school age kids, but I was glad to see them getting back on track. I watched my grandmother talk with August mom, but there was something a lil off with my grandmother. I sighed and wrapped my arms tighter around August neck.

"I love you so much."

"And I love you more." He bent his head and I was met with a soulful kiss. I could never get tired of feeling those sexy ass lips.

Just then Tracie Spencer's Tender Kisses started to play and we smiled at each other. I was so happy. August bent his head so that he could whisper in my ear and what he was saying had me blushing like hell.

"I am so ready to make love to you in every position known to man. I want you to feel me deep inside your tight walls for the first time as your husband and you as my wife. I'ma make sure I pleasure your body in a way you will neva, eva forget."  

"Uh maybe we need to make our speech and head out."

"I think ya right." He said as he stepped back and motioned for the dj to stop the music. He turned back to me and nodded for me to say what I had to say.

"First I wanna thank each and everybody that made this night what it was. Y'all really went out and it warms my heart. I'm finally a married woman and I thank God for this day and for this beautiful man beside me." I turned and looked up at him as he smiled down at me.

"Desire you my babygirl and I was more than happy to assist in this because I know that you are in good hands with August." My dad said.

"Yes dear you are and I  am so happy with the way things turned out." My grandmother said raising her champagne flute.

"August. Desire. The both of you are true angels and I pray for you to have a happy and blessed union because the both of you deserve it." Mrs. Shelia said.

My mom was too busy crying to get herself together, but I knew what she felt and what she may have wanted to say. I turned to Nedra and I knew my ass was gon' start crying. Hell she was too.

"Nedra you have seen me at my worst and you have been by my side through everything. You were always my voice of reason, even though at times you had no kinda filter. I truly appreciate you and I love you." I reached out and hugged her.

"My damn makeup." She playful commented. "Seriously Desire you are a beautiful person and I am glad to call you my friend. You know anytime you need me I'm here. Love you girl." She blew a kiss to me.

Netra stepped up and hugged me. "Desire I admire your strength and I wish you and August all the best."

"Alright I'ma let my husband have the floor."

"Man y'all already kno' a nigga be getting all emotional, but I really appreciate everythang for helping me get this togetha. I had to do this because Desire deserved this more than she could eva kno. Twan you been riding wit me fa' a lil minute and you kno' you my nigga. I love ya man." I dapped him and gave him a hug.

"Aug you been tha' realest one out'chea and I not only respect you, but I salute you fa' the man you have become. You know you can always count on me cause I'm a real nigga jus like you."
