Chara woke up from the sudden unconsciousness. They looked around to see they were on a pile of what seemed to be golden flowers. Just like the one in their village. Those were Chara's childhood flowers they never wanted to let go of. Chara remembered that each and everyday they would run towards the flowers and start smelling them. Bruno hated it but Amanda admired it.
Enough thinking about family, thought Chara. They weren't going to save their mother at all despite being trapped here in the underground. They noticed a door that was probably the beginning of the world of monsters. They dared not go through that door. There were dangerous monsters that could kill them at first sight.
Then, they started to get up. Chara told them self they weren't going to just lie there, looking up at the skylight. But then, they heard footsteps coming towards them. They started walking backwards in fear of dying instantly but then again, they knew they'd die either way. Just then, someone who looked like a goat with fluffy ears approached and held out his hand.
Chara started walking away and accidentally tripped on a rock and fell unconscious again. Everything was black in Chara's view.
A few hours later, Chara woke up on a fluffy bed with a cloth wrapped around their head. Everything was blurry but eventually, they gained consciousness again. They started looking around their surroundings. There seemed to be a room with a chest full of clothes and a family photo. Were they being kidnapped? Were they sent here to die? Chara was so scared they started to get up and started to panic.
They wandered the halls slowly and saw a cactus and a mirror. They approached the mirror and said to themselves, "It's me, Chara." and was amazed by how clean their face looked. They probably must've cleaned up all the scars and dirt of their face.
They then saw the whole family in the kitchen preparing a pie together. Probably a pie they're gonna cook me in, thought Chara. They then started to walk quickly past the kitchen as quickly as they could but they heard one of the family members, probably the mother, calling after them.
"My child!" she said reaching her hands out to stop her.
Her "child"? thought Chara.
