"That monster killed that child! This war isn't ever over!" said one of the villagers, a gun in his hand.
"You're going to die and it's all your fault. Now quick, place me on that bed of golden flowers. Right there. Then run. You've failed me Asriel." Asriel then did as he was told, quickly placing Chara on the bed of flowers. He then tried to rush back to the underground. The human world wasn't a safe place for him here.
All the villagers started their weapons and started firing their arrows, bullets or anything they had at Asriel. A bunch of knives went into Asriel's skin. He roared in pain and quickly rushed back to the underground. Chara was right. Those humans were merciless.
He made his way towards his dad's garden and slowly turned to dust and died. Toriel was the first to know Asriel had gone missing and finally made her way toward the garden. Her hands were cupped over her hands, and she started to shout, "ASGORE!", while choking on her tears.
Asgore came towards where Toriel was standing. His face was scrunched up and ready to cry. The whole entire underground knew that their heir to the throne had died. Asgore then hosted everyone in the underground to make an important speech.
The very next day, just as planned, everyone came towards the king's castle and was waiting for the king to approach the balcony which faced all the monsters. Poor Chara had died and so did their prince.
"Dear monsters of the underground. As you may have heard, our dear Prince Asriel had died and so did his adopted sibling, Chara. Asriel was killed by those horrid humans up there. They have killed my own precious son." Everyone in the audience nodded. Asgore continued, clearing his throat.
"There will now be a new rule in the underground. Any human who ever falls down here will be forced to die immediately. They shall never see the light of day again! Just like us!" Everyone in the audience cheered but in the distance, Asgore could hear Toriel's disappointed gasp. Then, she walked away, a frown on her usually happy, bright face. All those cheers from the fellow monster folk was drowned out. Asgore made his way back into his castle.
"Toriel, what's the matter with you darling?" asked Asgore, with forgiveness in his voice. Toriel then turned around, tears streaming from her eyes.
"How dare you. Those humans don't deserve to die. You're a merciless monster and you shall never be forgiven." Then, she rushed out of the castle. Asgore was then left to rule the whole underground on his own, without his dear love Toriel.
