Chapter-27

Sasha finally managed to avoid his thoughts and the moments they spent together in the morning during haldi. She just fell asleep when she heard a ping on her phone.

'Are you sleeping?' she read the text and looked at her watch. It was 01:30 in the midnight, she hit her forehead.

She cursed Ashmith for disturbing her 5 minutes precious sleep and then texted him 'No. I am playing hide and seek, do you want to join?'

He sat upright after seeing a message notification on his phone and replied 'Sure. Why not 😂'

She gritted her teeth 'Idiot' she tapped her phone without any mercy 'Is that even a question to ask at this time? Normal people like us would be sleeping but I don't know about crazy people like you'

'Looks like normal people like you will still be so energetic to tell jokes in sleep' he grinned to himself

She rolled her eyes, 'Okay, tell me.
Why did you text at this time?'

He shrugged, 'I was unable to sleep and Vikram is in deep sleep, so I thought of texting you'

"If you're not able to sleep that doesn't mean you'll wake up everyone" She talked to herself dramatically before texting him 'Close your eyes and count 100-1, you'll get sleep. Good night'

He furrowed, he ignored her goodnight and replied 'Does it really work Sasha?'

She groaned as soon as she heard the notification sound, "Arey yar, please sleep and let me sleep" she hit her phone to her head. 'You'll get to know when you try it'

'I'll try that later.
But tell me one thing, did you ever text anyone at this time?' he crossed his fingers

"Sasha... put your phone on silent" Ashu mumbled in sleep.

"Sorry" she turned her phone to vibration mode and read his text, "Does he think I'm a Ghost to text people at this odd hours" she talked to herself 'No, I usually sleep at this time and I think even you should. Good night Mr.Pride'

"Why is she hurrying me to sleep, it's just 1:40 now" he shooked his head 'Even I never did, forget about late night talks, I don't even text people normally. You're the first' he types while closing his room door behind and going to a balcony.

He settles himself on a swing, gazing at the starry night sky and waiting for her reply.

"Oh god! What happened to him?" she looks towards the roof, "He is completely ignoring my good night" she shooks her head. 'I expected that. Considering your busy scheduled life, you must've not had time to eat and drink, forget about texting people'

He laughs seeing her text, 'So true. I was consumed in my work that I forgot to enjoy my life. But thank God, now it's not the case'

She smiles, 'Glad that you realised it and learnt the true meaning of life'

"Only because of you" he blushes, "if you had not entered my life, I would be the same Ashmith who ignores people" he grinned remembering his past.

Not getting any response from him, she pinged him again 'By the way, what are you doing Mr.Pride?'

'Enjoying the starry night from the balcony ⭐⭐'

"Is he crazy? Sitting outside in this cool weather" she rolled her eyes 'Enjoy😄' she then again texted 'But make sure that you get in before you catch cold'

After reading her text, he shivered and that is when he realised it was really very cool, 'Sure Madam' he smiled

"I can't do it anymore. Let me tell him frankly that I want to sleep" she decided 'I am really sleepy Ashmith. Can we talk tomorrow?'
