An Alpha in Love?

"Excuse me, miss Rose, may I speak to your healer in private please?" Convel asks tenderly.

Well isn't that just the icing on the cake, Teva thought. At least he seems nice.

The alpha seems to cringe at the sound of the title he uses to refer to her. She quickly puts on a convincingly bright smile. "Why, of course you can, sweetie! I think she would be delighted!" She smiles at him while sending Teva a quick 'get it together' glance.

Teva quickly gathered her thoughts before following the male alpha.

"I-I'm sorry about how my pack laughed at you." Convel blushes. "That behavior was very uncalled for......" He can't look her in the eyes, he just keeps blushing.

Teva looks down at her paws, occasionally looking in his eyes. Aww, he's blushing! "It was my fault, really. I shouldn't have acted the way I did, it was really childish of me..." She whimpered in embarrassment.

"You... You know, y-you're kinda cute, when you're like that...." Convel's cheeks turn bright red and he can't look at her anymore.

"You really think so?" Teva's blush reddens. "My pack probably thinks I'm an idiot right now... At least I have a big strong wolf like you to prove them wrong!" She lifted his face with her tail wagging flirtily.

"Uh......" Convel face turns as red as a tomato.

Teva suddenly stops and she folds her ears. "I-I'm sorry... I have no idea where that came from..."

Convel is still speechless. He quietly mumbles, "S-so beautiful............."

"What?" Teva asks, barely hearing what he said. She tilts her head in an adorable way.

"Gah! U-umm...... N-Nothing........" Convel's face turns even redder.

"The others are probably worried about me. I need to get back to my pack." Teva says nervously. She licked his cheek in thanks before trotting off to the others.

"W-wait!" Convel exclaims.

Teva stopped in place before turning back to face him. "Yes?"

"Uh, um... C-Can I see you again, soon?" Convel's tail tucks between his legs for the very first time, ever.

Teva blushes noticeably before replying. "Uh, y-yeah, when do you want to meet up again?"

"L-Later tonight?" Convel looks up at her hopefully.

"O-of course! Is here okay?" Teva asks.

"Th-That's fine with me!" Convel says in surprise.

Teva smiles shyly before returning to her pack. Her face was still bright red. She couldn't wait to see him again.

~Back at the camp~

"Hey! There you are, dear! We were starting to get worried." Rose says with a smile. "Wait, are you, blushing!?"

The rest of the girls tease her. "Oooooh!"

"Uh, um, n-n-no!" Teva stutters. Not helping.

"I bet you're going to see him again tonight, aren't you?" Rose teases.

"S-shut up!" Teva whimpers.

"C'mon guys. Leave her alone!" Luna says defensively.

Teva gave her a "thank-you-so-much" glance before returning to her spot with the pack. "Let's go. Unless you still need to talk?"

"We're fine. Unless you wanna say 'bye' to your honeys?" Rose laughs. "I'm just pulling your legs. C'mon, let's go home."

Teva let out an irritated growl before following the others home. Please, let night come quickly.
