Wiser Than Most

24 hours had passed since Luciano's speculated suicide.The case is still speculated due to the fact that the enntire groups debate about Luciano's death went flat. Nobody could come up with a real answer, suspect or even alibi for Luciano that day. They couldn't even figure out the cause of death. As the group went their ways a certain three 2p's made their way to the Dining room. Those 2ps beings the scavengers, Kuro, Viktor and of course, Zao

Zao look both directions cleaning up the dining room to make sure nobody was going to sneak in on their conversation-I mean not that he genuinely cared but it would be pretty annoying. Zao put his head of the table waiting for the other two as the clock on the wall ticked back and forth repeatedly. Zao was bored out of his mind, he took out a string and attached it to a rubber ball that he carried around in his bag. He tied the two together and began to bounce the rubber ball up and down to pass the time humming a tune from a song he wrote three weeks ago that Kuro can't stand.

"Excus-"

Zao accidentally hit Kuro in the arm with the rubber ball, Kuro was not amused.

"What even is that thing?"

Zao cleared his throat and spun around in his chair. "Doesn't matter, where's Viktor by the way?"

"Here."

Zao silently screamed and ducked. "Oh wow, you actually bothered to come, so everyone sit down, or not, I could honestly care less."

The two obviously annoyed 2ps sat down in their assigned seats not even questioning Zao at this point.

Zao spun around in his chair and slammed his fist on the table. "Alright, Scavengers unite! I am your leader and today we are going to discuss something insane that has happened that is basically a new chapter in our history. Luciano Vargas has committed suicide. Thoughts and opinions, feel free to throw out accusations, cause of death or whatever."

Kuro immediately responded. "They is hardly any prove that the death of Mr. Vargas was a suicide. One step at a time Zao."

Viktor looked as if he was contemplating something. "Suicide over some girl? Bullshit, I saw that man murder a bear with his own hands."

Zao pointed at Viktor. "Great observation, the motivation is very off."

Kuro raised his eyebrow. "Well Allen for one ruined his wedding, you know, the wedding I planned? Also Eyebee thought he was a terrible person. Can you really blame her?"

Viktor scoffed. "He couldn't handle the responsibility of the role he created for himself so now everyone has to suffer."

Zao smirked. "Well what if I told you I don't think he killed himself and that he was actually killed by someone."

Kuro commented. "That isn't a hot take, but I do think him being murdered is possible but only in theory, if anyone even attempted anything I can assure you he wouldn't have been the only body found in that basement."

Viktor slammed his hands on the dining table. "IT'S THAT DAMNED GIRL I'M TELLING YOU, Allen is too much of a pussy, Flavio is all bark and no bite and anyone else has no motivation or just doesn't care. She is far more clever than she leads on."

Zao winked. "That makes sense so well done 'Mr. You scare the crap out of me'! Oliver found a h/l piece of h/c hair in Luciano's room. Last time I checked Luciano doesn't collect random people's hair-that is more of an Oliver thing."

Kuro nodded. "That girl, of course, I may have overheard her talking with Flavio about how much she wants to escape."

Dmitri followed on Kuro's point. "There is evidence now, not to mention there was no suicide note, she is clever but not clever enough. I tried to finish her off a bit after she escaped the first time. That Elisabetta girl saved her instead-"

"NOT SO FAST vicTORIous! I SERIOUSLY DOUBT AT THIS POINT THAT (Y/n) WAS THE ONE WHO KILLED LUCIANO. According to MY evidence, It's a different woman who likes Ravens and has a smoking addiction." Zao interrupted

The two looked at each other then back at Zao in confusion.

"Okay guys, before you say anything please hear me out, We all know we didn't do it. I was egging some racist person's house, Kuro was telling me to not egg a racist person's house, and I am going to go out on a limb and say Viktor was probably committing war crimes in some unnamed European country. Matt was probably in the attic doing nothing, Lutz was passed out on the phone and let's not forget that Oliver was the one who found the body. This leaves both Eyebee and Francesca.

I don't think Eyebee did it, she is 11, she wouldn't even be able to kill him if she wanted to-and she wouldn't want to because she is one of those girls who preach "WAR IS BAD AND I'M GONNA GO HUMP A TREE AND GIVE WOMEN THE RIGHT TO VOTE!" Or something. Even if she tried from the bottom of her heart we would have witnessed her head rolling on the floor a long time ago. Seriously? How could she overpower Luciano to hurt yet alone kill him?

Francesca on the other hand can. She is powerful and let's everybody know it, she may seem like a gloomy jackass but she is a dangerous gloomy jackass and there is a really big difference between the two y'all. I for one have been attacked by her on multiple occasions, one before the night of Luciano's wedding. She almost killed me-for calling her a whore??? Who does that? Francesca of course. She brought Viktor to tears over a fight about Katie also almost killing him. Imagine what she could do if she was trying, imagine what she could do if she actually wanted power, I have no doubt in my mind that she is capable if she actually wanted to claim Luciano's place.

I mean, what's stopping her, she has every weapon imaginable, he has the ability to fight, lie, manipulate, The moral consequences of the action won't affect her either, have you seen how casual she is when it comes to death?! The girl is wiser than most. My theory is she got fed up with being in Luciano's rule so she killed him, framed it as a suicide, now she wants his throne and we are all under her influence...but not yet, we need to stop her, now."

Kuro and Viktor were stunned, Kuro was in full support of Zao's theory. "How could I possibly miss it, I never liked that French slut anyways. Always seemed so uncannily okay with just taking a life. Guess that's why she uses a gun instead of her actual powers which are already useless."

Viktor coughed. "You are missing the point, Kuro, she just killed Luciano to take his place. I wouldn't mess with her now that she is this close to succeeding her goal. She is terrifyingly powerful and makes sure everybody knows. She has almost killed me multiple times. There is a reason she is so numb and unremorseful to taking life. Luciano is just another drop of blood in the sea she created."

Zao raised his fist to the air. "Don't give up hope yet, her reign is gonna end just as short as it began. Let's put an end to her aggressive pretentious ass with her multiple addictions once and for all!"

Kuro and Viktor rolled their eyes. "Once and for all?" they repeated at the same time.

Both men exit going their separate ways, Zao was left in that dining room alone. He stood up about to walk to his room.

"Oh Francey, you are going to regret the way you treated me all these years, for (Y/n)? She will be second to go. Then you will finally be exposed for the hypocritical whore you are. Guess you really are wiser than most"
