My last year of high school. My whole high school experience had been amazing, at least... that's what everyone thinks. They all think that I have "the perfect life", well let me tell you something, I have not. Yes I have many friends, yes I do have a boyfriend, yes I am popular and yes my parents do have a lot of money. But I don't know who my real friends are, I found out my boyfriend is cheating on me, my popularity is because of my boyfriend and yeah, well my parents if I see them twice in a week for about 1 hour it is a lot. So no my life isn't as perfect as it seems.

Let's go back in time for a little bit and let me introduce myself.

My name is Liza. And I am a senior at my local high school. I grew up with my younger sister and my parents in California. My parents have their own company, that's why they aren't at home a lot. We live in a big house, trust me it's so big I even got lost when we first moved here. We moved here because of my little sister. When I was 6 years old my sister was born. I was so happy that I was going to be a big sister! But when she was born they found out she has down syndrome. My parents were really scared to raise here and they didn't want her. But I knew that I would love her just as much as when she did not have Down syndrome! After long conversations between my parents they did decide to keep her. Now my sister, Molly, lives in an apartment where she has assistance. I see her once in two weeks.  When she is at home I take care of her, because our parents are at work...
like I already said I have a boyfriend. His name is Chad. He is on the football team so you can already guess that he is popular. I first met him at my work. I work in a nursing home. His grandma lives there and when he came to visit he was always more interested in me than in his grandma.

Well I guess that's enough background information about me, for now.

I woke up early this morning. I have to make some math homework before I go to school.
I go downstairs to make some breakfast. I get a bowl, the cereal, and the milk.
'Honey, we are going to work!' I hear my mom say. 'Okay bye,' she walks up to me and gives me a kiss on the forehead. When they walk to the door she turns around, 'you know that we won't be at home for a couple of days, so you'll have to take care of your sister this weekend.' 'Yes mom I know, the same as two weeks ago'. 'Okay! See you next week honey'. I sigh and smile a little bit when they walk out the door.

My father doesn't like my attitude when they go to work so he doesn't speak to me in the morning. When do I speak to my dad, you might ask? When he arrives home late in the evening...

I open my math book. I can't really focus so I decided to take a shower. I get dressed and go to school.
