Lying awake, staring at ceilings
Thinking of you and my feelings
Its almost dawn, birds are singing
Set it hours ago, now my alarm is ringing

My mind is constantly in a space
Virtually where we would meet
The only reality I can see your face
Sitting by the pool, hanging feet
Summer all the time, in this headspace

Miles apart, I wish I'm with you
Fantasizing the day we'd meet again
How long is this going to take
Is not really much of an issue
But my daydreams aren't real, they're fake

You and I exist in different timezones
Yet our soul still speaks when one is absent
We communicate with mobile phones
So that we'd feel omnipresent
