Part 5: Silence

i want to text you
i want to ask you
your day, your nights
your dreams, your fears

i want to see you, i want to hear your voice
i want to know more about you, i want to make you laugh
your smiles, how your eyes glimmer

i can't stand the silence
unspoken words of concern
love languages in discreet
shielding our hearts
from going too far
yet craving for that drunken
connection we call intimacy
imagining each other in beds
late night conversations in our heads
healing and comforting
loving and living

it hurts so much to see
that i can't be with you
but i also don't want to ruin you
i wish, the little moments we have together
could last longer
i long for you and it makes me sick
it makes me sick for me to feel this way
i think about you all the time
you've been in my dreams every week
confession is at its wake
but ill stay silent
for your sake
